Krystal just seems to have voiced a position on ending "tax cuts" for corporations..."they have all these billions of dollars and they are not hiring"

Yeah moron, maybe they should all just get out and go somewhere (practically any other country) that has a lower corporate tax rate.

Did they talk about how Romney’s team had said they’d take in $40M? What a joke the Romney’s single day money-bomb report of $10M was, when he was stuck at $20M for the quarter?

Every time I see something like this about Billy the Kid, I try and recall that he wrote for the Slimes until the heat got to be too hot under his seat. That alone explains a lot of about him.

Never trust Kristol. He is the consummate Beltway Insider.

Furthermore, I think he uses his press pass as an excuse to slither around the halls of Congress and stir up trouble, carrying tales and “facilitating deals.”

That kind of radical thinking could force ethanol to become actually profitable, not "get close enough to break-even that the government subsidy will make us a profit" profitable.

If the USG would drop the tariff on importing ethanol, it could be competitive with other fuels. Instead we subsidize our ethanol and tax everyone else's who tries to export the stuff to us.

Wish I’d watched that. The Monaco bride looks healthier than the English one and I liked her dress a lot. I hate strapless dresses. they don’t look good on anyone.

Glad I slept in, wished I would have slept longer with those snoozers. Don’t tell me let me guess, we need to reach across the aisle to our friends in the other Party, the Repubs.

Pray for America

Agreed, he’s a self serving putz, ready to pounce on our side in a heartbeat if it pays him a few more bucks.

Romney raised about what people expected. It'll be interesting to see how Bachmann did as a relatively unknown candidate just really getting in.

The panel really only saw Pawlenty as on the verge of washing out particularly as he hasn't gained traction in Iowa despite the expended effort there.

The field isn't settled but those who didn't get in yet passed up some important time for fundraising opportunities for one reason or another.

Fareed ben Laden on CNN just solved the debt problem! All we have to do is raise taxes---duhhh... right Fareeeeedd!

Great one today, bray.

The fact is that Washington is increasingly awash in misleading metaphors, like “debt ceiling.” It’s hardly a “ceiling” if all the pols have ever done is raise it.

A better metaphor would be “blank check.”

It’s little wonder that our very wealth is now measured not with an exacting calculator but a poetic device instead. It used to be a gold and silver standard; then the viability of the federal reserve; and now, finally, we measure it all against our own suspension of disbelief.

So it goes.

FOX Sunday, Cornyn accuses obama of not doing his job regarding the budget, etc.....rather he’s out fund-raising.

obama says this deal could be worked out on the back of an envelope, blames Repub’s for not getting the deal done......Cornyn says he’d like to see that envelope.

Cornyn - Repb’s are opposed to any tax hikes, but....tax reform is necessary. We could bring down rates, reduce tax loop holes, and actually bring in more revenue. (kinda sounds like tax hikes on someone) Ethanol subsidies should be repealed (works for me)

American economy of today can’t absorb these waves of unskilled labor.

Our LEGAL immigration policies are bringing in waves of unskilled labor. We bring in 1.2 million legal immigrants a year. 25% of the adults don't even have a high school degree. And it is far worse re illegal aliens.

Fish, love your updates on Sussex County. Just want to let you know this Freeper is the Area Chair of the Washington County GOP and defacto grass roots leader of our County. We are going to Win Dist 1 for Oregon. David Wu’s seat.

We won our State District to make it a 30-30 tie which stopped so many taxes, now the next step. I instituted the PCP of the Year Contest which other Counties are taking up and may go statewide.

Basically the Tea Party has taken over the GOP here.

Pray for America

Then they’re glossing over the real Romney news. (What a surprise!) Romney’s own people had been saying he’d raise $40M this quarter. Here’s just one article talking about it:

FOX Sunday - Cornyn - Raising taxes increases federal govt. Responding to the “politics” accusation by dem’s -

obama and his party doing a pretty good job of undermining the economy, as it is. lol, good point, John.

Commenting on Schumer’s point that the president may have the Constituional authority to raise the debt limit, singlehandedly, Cornyns says, “That’s crazy talk.” (crazy talk - liberal/dem talk - same thing)

Up next Graham/Lieberman - oh, joy!
