To paraphrase the rest of the article, the Somali government has asked for more air strikes against their main rivals, Al Shabbab, a group linked to Al Qaida and several attempted terrorist attacks. For the record the Transitional Federal Government with it’s U.N. paid African “peacekeepers” have been on the offensive and now control over half of Mogadishu. For most of the last decade they’ve been locked in a twelve block area.
