Chavez likely diagnosis, perforated colo-rectal cancer. The chance of cure even w/chemotherapy is very low, in the order of 10% or less.

It’s good that he has returned to die in the nation he destroyed.

Obama must be heart broken that his comrade in pushing world wide socialism will be meeting his maker soon

I wonder when Chavez dies a long painful well deserved death will Obama declare a national day of mourning ?

Can you imagine if Grandpa Fidel in Cuba outlives his student Hugo? Well soon they may all be reunited with their murderous marxist hero Che Gueverra..

My wager is that he is returning because his control is in jeopardy, Caudillos do not change power gracefully. Fidel to Raul was somewhat smooth but Raul has always been a strong entity in Cuba since 1959, but Hugo's brother is much less and their Bolivarian Revolution is still new and was much on the rocks before the current resurgence in oil prices.

I wonder if Hugo is feeling the 'heat' in multiple senses?

If Monkey Boy had kept any kind of a decent relationship with this country he could have went MD Anderson.

Well, anyway, I am glad he left off the colonoscopy off his "to do" list. Him hitting room temp even before Fidel is pretty neat.

Funny that AP uses the words “surprise visit”. Anyone who is half educated on these matters knew that this narcissist would return for the bicentennial Independence holiday. The guy thinks he is the second coming of Boulevard.

Boulevard.

That's where they need to drag his cold dead carcass when he croaks.

Chavez likely diagnosis, perforated colo-rectal cancer.

If ever there was a "come to Jesus" moment for the fiend, now's the time he needs to move on it.

I confess I find it hard to keep track...I thought there were other communist regimes in South America. Is Venezuela truly the lone communist country on that continent? Thanks for bringing me up to date!

The speculation was that Chavez would get a break from his treatment (radiation?) in Cuba to allow him to briefly return to Venezuela around the 5th of July.

A parade in connection with Venezuela’s bicentennial is scheduled for tommorow the 5th.

A sure sign he is undergoing a new round of cancer treatment will be if he returns to Cuba by next week.

My father was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer, said 'no thanks' to any aggressive treatment, and was given 6 mo to live. He died one day shy of 6 mo.

If this is what Chavez has, he is on the way out...he'll lose a lot of weight and die a skeleton within months. No hope, no cure, good-bye.

My first thought also. Certain countries are so used to the “strong man”. A sign of weakness is deadly.

Although my guess is Chavez has guts in this regard (no pun intended!) and isn’t going gracefully. He’s been probably ignoring things for awhile.

Colon surgery is tough. We will get the pleasure of seeing him fade away to a wraith and then dying. And finally the total exasperation of watching millions of useful idiots crying over the rotten thug.

They’ll probably all be wearing black on the NothingButCommunists network.

The people said, it is the voice of a god, and not a man!... and he was eaten with worms, and died...

From the book of Acts.

Since we are cobbling together Scripture...

Judas went out and hanged himself.
Jesus said, “Go and do thou likewise.”
