It was after hundreds of patients and providers complained about the program after it was implemented on January 1 that the legislation to abolish the bidding program was introduced. The federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has designed the bidding program in a manner that is arbitrary and severe, which has restricted the number of companies that are allowed to provide commonly used medical equipment and services.
Durable medical equipment and services (DME) providers have advised President Obama to abolish Medicare's questionable "competitive" bidding for homecare. They argue that this decreases quality and availability of homecare for older people and those with disabilities.

And the Dems have the nerve to tell people that Republicans are the ones who are destroying Medicare.
There is a bipartisan bill to repeal this part of the monstrosity known as Obamacare.

Obamacare needs to be repealed in its entirety.

Speaking of the media, you don’t see this in the MSM, I just happened on it by accident.
So much damage has now been done nothing can be done to repair for many years if ever. All we can hope for is stopping what is to come.
Sometimes they choose NOT to use the media friend’s megaphone. In fact it’s most times the better option for them!!!
And watch, SEIU will finish organizing the home care woikers and the firms with contracts with them will be the ONLY ones authorized to be paid. In addition, they will force firms with legitimate businesses and caring staff out of the business so that the only firms authorized will be money laundering and abuse machines...Just watch.

Obamacare has even hit the VA healthcare system. I am seeing a crowd like never before. Certain service connected ratings /priorities mean nothing anymore. I ran into a neurologist friend I had as an MD in 92-2002. He warned me about a managed care suit years ago standing up in first class and telling him and other MD’s flying back from Russia that he and other suits would run all MD’s by 2005 or earlier. We will tell you what you can and cannot do.” He asked me how I was doing? I said-” I wish I could see you.” He replied-” I cannot do much now.” A GI type MD told me before the tax bracket stuff was quelled after December that he had little desire to practice then. Morale is bad.
