In a statement, NEA President Dennis Van Roekel says Obama and the union share a vision

They favor an America that is both economically and militarily weaker? To what end?

You don’t think the progressives/socialists/cmmunists want educated people do you? They want drones! Stupid, lock step drones! And, the teachers unions are producing them for the cause.

It's nice to consider your options before making a decision, for those who have an open mind at least.

The NEA doesn't have that open mind, and they are not looking to see which republican, RINO, or TEA candidate will be nominated to oppose the communist. They are looking at all the options, seeing the spectrum from Palin, Cain, Bachmann, and DeMint on the limited government side all the way to Romney on the big government fringe of the GOP and saying they prefer communism/socialism over any alternative. It's not about competence, character, or values, just endorsing the most left-wing fringe candidate available.

So? Who else are they gonna vote for?

Even if the NEA rank and file doesn’t care too much for Mr. Obama, they will cast an aiffirmative vote for him.

However, a bunch of ‘em might stay home.

PS: Is it true that New Hampshire has the lowest taxes in the US, but has the highest SAT scores? Just wondering.

It would have a tad more credibility if they would at least wait to find out who the other candidates are.

The total failure of students in America’s schools can be laid right at the feet of the dimocrat party and teachers unions. They totally are responsible for the stupidity that comes out of schools now. Kids now need college educations to get up to what used to be a high school education. They simply have failed. And people just let them continue to do it. Kids quitting school at record numbers. Test scores in schools lower than home schoolers. What a mess.

The NEA endorsement was bought and paid for a long time ago.

Guess the NEA has turned over a new leaf. They usually support the Rat candidate that hides his leftist or Islamic Socialism or Maoism or Stalinism or Leninism or Marxism or Che, Fidel, and Hugo love or tacit approval of Ayers, Dorn, J. Wright, Farakhan, Alinsky, Cloward and Piven./ sarc

Too bad there are not enough NEA/AFT/AFL-CIO/Teamsters members that love this country more than continuing to pay dues to an organization(s) seemingly run by Communists at every level of leadership./ not sarc

It’s come to the point where we should first examine a potential employee’s high school record before we look at any higher education.

In a statement, NEA President Dennis Van Roekel says Obama and the union share a vision

What an indictment! Obama is, if actually an American at all, an Accidental American. Having spent his formative years in Indonesia, he has few of the typical mental images that are second nature to those born & raised in American communities. Do those teaching American children in their formative years now truly share Obama's "vision?" That ought to be grounds for their replacement.

Seriously, how can taxpayers employ teachers, who want to "change" America, to instruct the youth. Are we that deeply into self-destruction, or are we to imagine that he really did not mean his vows on the campaign trail? The context made it very clear that he was not talking about changing bad policies. He meant changing our fundamental principles. How can we tolerate that in our public schools?

The fact that this is the earliest they have ever announced their routine Dimocrat endorsement, and the record low percentage for members voting for it, tells us they are running scared. As so they should be!
