President Barack Obama named Brenda S. Sue Fulton, an Army veteran who campaigned to end the dont ask, dont tell policy, to the Board of Visitors of the United States Military Academy on Tuesday, putting the first openly gay or lesbian person onto the board that advises him on West Point.
Ms. Fulton, 52 years old, is the executive director and co-founder of Knights Out, an organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered West Point graduates and allies. Her appointment to the West Point board, announced Tuesday, does not require Senate confirmation. She graduated from West Point in 1980, part of the first class to include women.
Ms. Fulton says she became politically active for the first time in years after Mr. Obama took office, as she campaigned for an end to the military policy that has banned openly gay and lesbian people from serving in the military. She said in an interview Tuesday that she hopes her appointment will send a message to young people who are considering military service.

Just another nail in America’s coffin.
Anti-American act of the day by stalinist Dick Obama.
I can hardly wait to vote this jackball out of office.
>She said in an interview Tuesday that she hopes her appointment will send a message to young people who are considering military service.<
Yeah...don’t go into the military or fag-dykes will make your lives a living hell.
So, she wanted to get closer to the cruising zone and Obama plunked her right down in the middle of it all.
Operation Rolling Blunder continues. I’m really starting to wonder if we’ll have 2012 elections.
Has not West Point advocated for the removal of DADT in the recent past?
Just barry the bastard boy flipping off conservatives once again. This sick little narcissist cannot help it that he is a degenerate don’tchaknow.
Jesus...if someone doesn’t stop this madman we are finished as a Nation...
I wonder just how many ex-academy types are in the Knights Out group?
Women who go to West Point will be called on the carpet.
The whole democratic party is a mass of sick perversion.
This is a problem with females, she took an academy slot from a man, served five years and then left the service, it was a bad investment that could have been invested in a male career officer.
“Brenda S. Sue Fulton is a 1980 graduate of the US Military Academy. She served for five years in the Signal Corps in Germany, as a platoon leader, staff officer, and company commander. After leaving the Army, Sue worked in brand management at Procter & Gamble and Church & Dwight; she also took two years to work in parish renewal programs for the Archdiocese of New York. Sue most recently worked for a pharmaceutical company and lives in North Plainfield, NJ, with her partner Penny Gnesin. Sue is the Executive Director of Knights Out.”
Obama: "Ahhhh, I just stuck my thumb in your eye. Take that servicemen."
Yet another reason why this fraud needs to be removed from office because he’s not eligible; all of these damning appointments and policies will be voided. It’s absolutely imperative.
The real frustration will be that we’ll be stuck with a candidate who will not even try to clean up this freak’s political messes.
it sure will "send" a message....
from now on, I'll never recommend the service to any young person...
She’ll be as effective as a corpse, man.
>>> Just another nail in Americas coffin.
I’m not really persuaded a board “board that advises him on West Point” is so influential that any single member could constitute a nail in America’s coffin.
Far as I can tell, the last pieces of advice Obama took relating to West Point were 1) consider it “enemy territory”, and 2) confiscate the sabers of the graduating class so they couldn’t en masse undertake a human wave attack on the podium and hack the visiting president to death.
This board sounds more like just a Quango. I wonder if the members are paid.
