The Birther Card game continues, with Obama's long-form birth certificate on top of the pot and "Made in the USA" coffee mugs around the table.
Watching the match unfold leads me to agree with Donald Trump: lots of smart people are birthers, and they don't like the way the game has been played. I suspect most Americans do not appreciate the fact that the issue has been played as a game at all -- both by the mainstream media and the President himself.
If polled the usual question: "Do you believe Obama was born in Hawaii?" -- Obama's behavior would provoke me (even though I do believe he was) to answer, "Beats me!" (I plan on wearing my Obama "Made in the USA" t-shirt so they won't ask.) Regardless, even a "Yes" response, if not followed with denouncements of all doubters, may still earn a Republican the label of racist birther.

We don’t have to check with the experts (though I agree—they’re debunked the document he released); we can check with his bff, Abercrombie. Recall that Hippo Mouth said he was going to get to the bottom of the LF BC, and lay the issue to rest once and for all. He investigated the files, and when asked what he’d found, he looked like he had seen a ghost. He gibbered about a “notation”, something, “written down” - and then refused to answer any more questions on the subject. Anyone watching that presser saw a rattled politician who couldn’t drop that hot potato fast enough.
Then the polls went south, showing a majority of ordinary, regular Americans doubted Obama was born in HI. All of a sudden, voila! A BC is released that bears no resemblance to a “notation” - and Which Was Not In The File when Abercrombie checked.
We don’t need the experts on this one. The plain, most basic facts speak for themselves.
At least Fox (which also involves WSJ, since they are owned by the same people)and 3 other major media companies were told by Obama’s lawyers once before the election and at least once after the election that they would be annihilated by FCC and/or anti-monopoly harassment if they reported on the eligibility issue.

You haven’t heard much about it because the threat the media heads passed on to the media personalities (something like “You or any of your guests discuss the eligibility issue, and your career is definitely over and your life, health, and family are in question”) was very quickly shown to be real.
As with other aspects of the “birther” issue, the part that troubles me is the amount of crime that has been committed, and the refusal of anybody in the media, law enforcement, government, and courts to do anything about it. Just like the other lawlessness we’ve seen out of this administration and its enablers, blatant crimes have been committed - and “conservatives” act like it doesn’t even matter.
The “conservatives” thought this was a side issue that makes no difference. I’ve been saying for a long time that if we accept the lawlessness that put Obama in office, we could expect to lose the rule of law altogether. And as we watch Obama operatives refuse subpoenas, refuse to enforce the law if Eric Holder’s “people” are the perpetrators, sue states to keep them from enforcing the borders and immigration law, refuse to defend DOMA, start combat operations in Libya without Congressional approval and batting the questions away as if the rule of law doesn’t even matter, take over the banks, take over General Motors, illegally fire inspectors general who noted the lawlessness and crimes being committed by Obama operatives, etc... tell me which understanding of the eligibility issue has been predictive of what we see today - the “conservative” pundits’, or mine.
As we see flash mobs and their violence increase drastically here in the US and as the lawlessness of the drug cartels spills over into our southern states, we should think long and hard about what it means if we say that the rule of law is a “distraction from more important things”.
Ann Coulter, as a Fox contributor, was told early on that if she reported on the eligibility issue her career would be over and her family could be killed. She knows this is about the rule of law; she has no excuse. She has chosen to be the mouthpiece for the very people who hold her hostage, as she mocks those who know this is more than a “game”. They all know it.
They are like hostages with a gun pointed at them, saying on camera not only that they are being treated well, but that there is actually no such thing as kidnappers and anybody who says otherwise is crazy. Every personality on Fox or the other media companies that were threatened. They all know and they are all marching in lock-step.
I kind of wondered about Sean Hannity, who for a while supported the things being said by Donald Trump - apparently with permission from Fox. Notice that shortly after that, George Soros (one of the active agents in the threats made to the media earlier) revealed through a Ben Smith interview with Media Matters CEO that Media Matters was seeking to annihilate Fox through regulators in Britain - the same threat as was made before, only this time very publicly right after Sean Hannity supported Trump.
I wondered why Fox allowed Hannity to do that, but now that Obama released the forged long-form and Trump has dropped the subject, and Hannity refuses to have Jerome Corsi on his show (Hannity/Fox claiming that the eligibility issue “isn’t in the news cycle any more” - IOW, they are dropping it, even as lots of forgery experts came out publicly to say that the posted BC is clearly a bad forgery).... I see why they allowed it. They set the stage for Obama’s grand forgery and then wouldn’t allow any analysis of it afterwards.
Fox played us like a fiddle. Or Fox’s master did.
I believe that Breitbart knows what has been done to the media and isn’t willing to fight the whole mafia machine that has the media in its grip. He’s chosen to fight other battles because he knows that if he tackles this he will have all the “conservative media” folks out for his blood (in order to save their own necks). There was a blow-up between Joseph Farah and Andrew Breitbart, and Breitbart’s point seemed to be that the eligibility issue is a losing battle even if Obama isn’t eligible. A reasonable response if Breitbart was aware that the “conservative” media is being held hostage.

Ann claims to NOT read the newspapers or blogs- I think this is getting to be a detriment to her
She says she does it so that she is not influenced by others in writing her books.
I believe she has therefore not seen much of the evidence of the forgery

Hopefully, Buckeye Texan did not post what he did in an effort to intimidate me or other defenders of Article 2, Section1, or to shut down discussion on Obama’s crude forgeries, very questionable natural born status, or Ann Coulter’s uncharacteristic non-defense of the Constitution.

Wish you had more info on that. I'd like to know. As you know, the BC thing isn't a big deal to me as Bams father makes him ineligible. But I like having the info anyway.
And I still think people are being quiet because of threats. Butters post 44 explains that. I think Obama makes the Clinton machine look like playful children.
Yeah...also can’t help but believe they were saving Osama for such an occasion as a severe dip in The One’s polls...they wagged the dog.
Just strange that nobody, nobody, nobody will look into the LFBC since the sting on Osama. Hannity had Corsi scheduled for his tv program...Corsi says he was canceled the evening of his appearance. This is Hannity! Rush is on the sidelines; even Coulter is afraid to look at it!!! Corsi continues to post...put received little or no traction.
Can only conclude that decisions have been made...to take down Obama over this will cause more problems that it solves. Problem is...the Constitution has been damaged.

They’ve been told they will be annihilated if they don’t ignore it. See my last post. Doug Hagmann has a lot of evidence supportive of the claims in a signed statement by a TV personality saying that Obama’s lawyers threatened the media companies with annihilation if they reported on some very specific things related to the eligibility issue, and that threat was passed down to the media personalities as threats to career and possibly life, health, and family if the personalities or any of their guests talked about those subjects.
Why is the FBI not investigating this? The FBI is a bad, bad joke under a very bad, bad joke of an Attorney General.
Oh, except for the cabal of Czars, the taking over of GM, using The EPA to implement his Green Agenda. But I repeat myself. There are 100 reasons to oppose this guy and defeat him in 2012. If we can’t even defeat him on his shredding of The Constitution he’s undertaken since he took office, what good does it do to get our panties all bundled up over the Birth Certificate thing?

That’s exactly what Obama’s lawyers said to Fox and the other media companies: “Report facts that trash Obama’s eligibility and you will be zotted.”
And it’s also what Eric Holder said regarding the New Black Panther voter intimidation case: “Bring criminal charges against MY PEOPLE and I will zot you and end the investigation.”
Now we see how this kind of thing happens. We would do well to really comprehend what’s going on.

Ann Coulter is a strong conservative. She disagrees with birthers and they disagree with her. I hope it can be left there and not escalated.

The MSM has closed ranks, and viciously savages anyone who steps out of line as a racist. I’m the perennial optimist, though. I am certain the truth will eventually come out. A lot of careers will suffer when it does, but the Constitution will (hopefully) see a revival/vindication.
Economically, things are on a precipitous downhill slide. Barry’s every move makes it worse. When his poll numbers hit a sufficiently low level, look for damaging leaks to appear in unexpected places.
