An alternate juror in the Casey Anthony trials has said that he believes that Anthony was a good mother and that two-year-old Caylee’s death was just a horrific accident.
The sensational acquittal of Casey Anthony sparked outrage across the U.S. as angry spectators compared the trial’s outcome to the infamous verdict in the OJ Simpson case.
But Russell Huekler, one of five alternate jurors who were present for all the testimony and were sequestered with the 12 other jurors, said he would have given the same verdict and is stunned by the public anger.

I have heard a lot of Freepers comment on this case, but I have yet to hear ANYONE make that ridiculous claim!
She had no job, she was a pahological liar, and she did not report her daughter missing, as she rotted in a trashbag in the woods.

This juror also believed the defense theory of cause of death. He also stated that none of the states evidence was compelling.

I did not follow the case and I’m only learning about it since yesterday. So far, I have not heard anything compelling enough that I would sentence someone to death for. Watching shows like 48 Hours, this seems to be common that the state builds circumstantial cases and is all shocked when they don’t get a victory....I’m thinking they should instead try these cases on lesser charges or something.
Now that we know that the “alternate juror” was an Obama voter, what do we know about the 12 cretins that were actually on this joke of justice?
You are on the jury. The state in the end of closing tells you, and I quote...”I HOPE she used the chloroform before she used the Duct Tape”. Can you explain that to me in a logical manner?

Well, according to the defense, Caylee drowned, and the Dad covered it all up after sexually molesting Casey. Then the mom did internet searches for chloroform, then she didn’t.
No one knows who searched for “neck breaking, internal bleeding” etc.
My theory is Caylee put duct tape over her mouth, walked into the woods, climbed into the trash bag, and suffocated.
Casey was so distraught by her father raping her that she tried to forget about it by partying and getting tattoos and making up lies about Zanny the Nanny. Also, in not reporting anything to the police.
The main thing is, this is a “HUGE VICTORY FOR JUSTICE”® and we can all celebrate the jury’s verdict!

Casey was acquitted. She was found “not guilty”.

She was the last one to be seen with Caylee.
She is the only person with access to everything at the crime scene including the shirt Caylee wore the day of her death which Cindy never saw before even though Cindy always did the laundry.
She had the motive/motives to get rid of Caylee. “Bella Vita” the good life tatoo explains a lot. Furthermore, she never wanted to be pregnant per her friend and Cindy would not let her friend adopt Caylee.
None of her many stories proved out as to what happened to her daughter.
1. She dropped the baby off with the nanny. (Whoopsy! Zanny is not a real person.)
2. The nanny held her arms down and said she is a bad mommy and took the child. (Nope!)
3. The child drowned in the pool accidentally, the father George found the body and said “Look what you have done! You are a bad mommy!” (notice a theme here?) “Oh help me dad!” “Ok. I will put the child in the garbage bag and can you bring me the duct tape to tape her mouth too? Why dad? Duh..I don’t know. Oh...by the way, don’t say she drowned if anyone asks. Just tell them Zanny kidnapped her and I will back you. I also will duct tape the Caylee posters all over town using the same incriminating tape I used to bag Caylee. What a plan! Duh....

How can she be a good mother? Her child is dead. She is the last person to be seen with Casey.

The jury had the option to find her guilty of a lesser charge of manslaughter, which would have not carried the death penalty.
They acquitted on that one, too.
Kind of like impeaching the POTUS isn’t it?
Maybe they should end sequestering of juries, so that they can not only listen to the actual testimony given in court, but can then listen to hours upon hours of pundits on cable television programs arguing over what that testimony really means.
Then we wouldn't have stunned jurists.
Having no job and lying about it for two years, including to police in an investigation, in addition to everything else, is not a good mother in my book.

The state claims the Duct Tape suffocated her. That means no air in or out. Do you have the ability to comprehend? My god. If she was being suffocated by the tape how could chloroform get in to her lungs? You have got to have the ability to see that. You must. It is a very simple concept. The chloroform could not possibly be after the Duct Tape if the Duct Tape is the murder weapon as claimed.. Please explain where I am wrong. Maybe I don’t get it.

Can someone tell me who the father of this poor dead child is? There’s hardly a mention of it.
Around 10 years ago, I had around 2 months with basically nothing to do. For some reason, I found myself watching Court TV.
It was a real eye opener.
If I was a guilty person, there is nothing I would like better than an American jury. If I were innocent, I would be scared to death of facing one.
It was truly shocking how bad some of them were. There really are a lot of dumb people in the world.
Okay, strike the “no job” reference. Although, I think, in Casey’s case, with her proclivity for living off of mommy and daddy’s money and not taking personal responsibility for providing for Caylee, it is relevant. But let’s give you that one.

The results are the same but a “Not Guilty” verdict is the jury affirming that guilt wasn’t proven. The not guilty verdict actually is preferable in this case because she can be tried if again if new evidence surfaces.
An aquittal is similar to a not guilty verdict but is a verdict rendered by a judge and retrial can’t happen again no matter what evidence surfaces in the future.
The biggest Clown Ass I heard was a so called layer wondering if the stae will appeal the verdict.

I should have known weeks ago this would happen with the jury. I’m on a private email list to discuss a hobby of mine and one of the men on the list kept insisting that Casey was a Wonderful Mother because he had been to a web site featuring dozens of pictures of her and Caylee and “you could just see the love she had for the child in her eyes.”
Nothing I could say could dissuade this man. I gave him examples with links to sources. He says he checked them out but I have doubts about that. He always came back with the same comment...those pictures showed what a Wonderful Mother Casey Anthony was and from that he just “knew she was innocent.”
The man is college educated and has his own business in NYC. My own theory is that men WANT to see Casey as some sort of Madonna/Whore. Nancy Grace had Jesse Grund on last night and he still says the Casey he was engaged to was a sweet and wonderful young woman and mother. She has him fooled and he doesn’t want to let go of the role she was playing then but Casey has always been exactly who she was on June 16, 2008 and who she is today. People don’t make dramatic changes to their personality as a rule.
