Shoot to disable is absolutely the most ludicrous idea the liberals have ever come up with and that's one thing that's actually agreed upon by 99% of FReepers.
So you throw out any judgement you might have and shoot center mass of a man all alone in a house who has a knife, not a gun? Training is a wonderful thing. Good judgement is much more valuable.
Maybe we should give cops tranquilizer guns and have the fish cops shoot the nuisance bears and kill them since there are way too many incorrigible nuisance bears anyway. We give much more deference to animals in this country today than we do to people. There is unbridled outrage when somebody drowns a cat but nary a whimper when thousands of unborn babies are legally put to death every day.
