[history]
With 9.1% unemployment and gasoline prices in the stratosphere, President Obama must sometimes wish that some big corporation would suddenly show up and offer a shovel-ready, multibillion-dollar project to create 100,000 jobs and reduce U.S. reliance on oil from dictatorships.

All a part of the Obama strategy to kill the economy and starve America for energy. Energy it needs for business, homes, cars and defense.

Hopefully President Bachmann/Palin/Perry/Romney (I know, I know...) will approve this on day 1.

Just point the pipe west rather than south and China will be more than happy to buy it without any EPA interference.

That too is part of the Obama initiative. America has been too strong for too long and he wants to level the playing field. The use of energy and technologies is one component of what made America strong. Now he wants to starve America. Watch food costs escalate.
Mr instability injecting more risk into the marketplace...

I guess destroying our economy was not enough for him. Now he wants to wreck the Canadian economy too.
To: Hojczyk
Well, lets see. They pretty much destroyed the domestic coal and oil industry, now they are trying to take down Natural Gas Fracking and Oil sands. They are even going after wind turbines and hydroelectric because they supposedly kill endangered birds and fish. I wonder what their plan for our future energy needs are? Hamsters on treadmills? (no that would be animal exploitation) Perhaps they think we should all become Amish.

Here's your picture: its easier to lord it over a reduced population of unarmed, uneducated peasants. Any means to that end, inculding the corruption of the scientific method and falsification and disingenuous manipulation of climate data to aid in the de-industialization of the planet and the extermination of 90% of the worlds population and the impoverishment of the rest is legitimnate.

Canada will extend the pipeline to the Pacific and the Chinese freighters returning from the west coast will have something to carry back. Canada gets the jobs and money and China gets the oil to refine. A real win for Obama.
