Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, discusses new details of the deadly, failed Operation Fast and Furious, along with William La Jeunesse on Fox News. July 6, 2011
I’d be interested in knowing if the deal Issa made with DoJ, allowing the appointment of three US Attorneys in exchange for DoJ documents, included a US Attorney for the Tampa area and who that US Attorney would be.
The fact that this has busted wide open is good.
Holder is toast.
Possibly more. Issa won’t stop with Holder.
Doesn’t answer my question. Who were the three US Attorneys and where will they be assigned? We already know that the F&F team in Phoenix was under the direction of the US Attorney for Arizona. Presently Robert E. O’Neill is the Attorney for Mid FL. I’d like to know if he was similarly in charge of Operation Castaway and if he is going to be replaced by one of these three so he can fade into the sunset.
O’Neill is INTERIM US Attorney.....sorry.
I think I just found a better link between Phoenix F&F and Tampa Operation Castaway.....ATF SAC Virginia O’Brien.
