At least WaPo is giving Gun Walker coverage, and it gave Chris Cox space in a letter to the editor.

BATFE Director and Eric Holder need to be impeached. Imagine the MSM trying to ignore those House trials.

From WaPo:

“Concerned to the point of paranoia about the erosion of the constitutional right to keep and bear arms, the National Rifle Association and far too many lawmakers have fought against virtually every proposal to empower the bureau to better track and crack down on illegal firearms. They have won reductions in the ATF’s already meager budget. They have restricted the bureau’s ability to share information with other law enforcement agencies. They have kept the bureau rudderless for the past six years by blocking confirmation of new directors. And they continue to fight new rules that would allow the bureau to track bulk sales of long guns that have played a major role in the drug-fueled violence in Mexico.”

THIS is beyond spin. This is sheer perfidy.

BO’s “stimulus” money bought several thousand assault rifles for the Mexican drug cartels. Your tax dollars at work.

...and that the department is hesitating while it decides “whether such material appropriately should be provided and, if so, how to best protect ongoing investigations.”

Meaning, "the department is busily shredding everything it possibly can so that it can cover up ongoing "investigations" while at the same time ending up with nothing to hand to those demanding evidence, because, if it no longer exists, it can't be turned over and then who is to say whether it actually ever existed--oh wait, maybe some people, fearing the ax, have already insured themselves by preserving evidence of their higher-ups' complicity.

Some of the firearms straw-purchased in Arizona for Mexican drug cartels, and allowed to “walk” by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ Operation Fast and Furious, may have been paid for with taxpayer money, by paid informants of the Drug Enforcement Administration and FBI, according to Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa)

When does anything rise to the level of an impeachable offense? Are these Marxists totally immune? C'mon Congress DO YOUR JOB!!!.

It dawns on me it is almost as hard to get around the Casey Anthony trial as it was to get mention of the Waco Hearings around the OJ Simpson Trial.

Funny how when the BATFE and DOJ are on the line, there is another trial in the foreground using up the airtime.

Gunwalker. AKA Operation Fast & Furious (aka: FUBAR) is turning out to be the biggest US Government Criminal Conspiracy and cover-up since Jack Got Whacked(1).

(1) Yes I'm 'series'. I know who and why.

I think the Oligarchy just cra&*ed its own punchbowl. That combined with the jobs report is rendering all of DC lower than whale scat.

If WaPo is giving this coverage - it will get legs. They can only make denials for so long. Eventually it will all come out.

I warn everyone though, it will be slow and maddening. Expect it to take 1 - 3 years to see results from this if you want it done right.

Appoint a special prosecutor and shut down all internal DOJ investigations. That would kill off the regime’s “ongoing investigation” cover for not releasing/redacting relevant information.
