Presidential candidate Representative Michele Bachmann (R-MN) signed a highly offensive pledge advanced by the Iowa social conservative group The Family Leader. The pledge insensitively compares childrearing by single parents and same-sex couples to slavery, declares homosexuality a public health risk and compares it to polygamy, polyandry, and adultery, rejects a woman’s right to make decisions about her health, and continues the right wing’s incorrect straw-man argument against Islam. Nearly every point in the pledge conflicts with the values of most American Jews, who largely disagree with most of the points made by the pledge and oppose racist and homophobic rhetoric.
...This pledge is just the latest indication that today’s Republican Party has been taken over by extremists. Bachmann’s prompt signing confirms what NJDC knew and said before: Bachmann is simply too extreme for the vast majority of American Jews.

The article says explicitly that "Nearly every point in the pledge conflicts with the values of most American Jews, who largely disagree with most of the points made by the pledge and oppose racist and homophobic rhetoric." NJDC says the same thing twice, and very explicitly.

This makes it clear beyond any doubt that NJDC is not citing a few portions of the Family Leader pledge to which it takes exception. It denounces "most of the points" and "nearly every point" and then lists those below as specific examples.
Slavery had a disastrous impact on African-American families, yet sadly a child born into slavery in 1860 was more likely to be raised by his mother and father in a two-parent household than was an African-American baby born after the election of the USA’s first African-American President.LBJ’s 1965 War on Poverty was triggered in part by the famous ‘Moynihan Report’ finding that the black out-of-wedlock rate had hit 26%; today, the white rate exceeds that, the overall rate is 41% and over 70% of African-American babies are born to single parents - a prime sociological indicator for poverty, pathology and prison regardless of race or ethnicity.
So NJDC would have us believe that Jews are in favor of babies being born to and raised by single parents, and thus ending up in poverty and prison regardless of race or ethnicity. Since most are Black, however, maybe NJDC really prefers Black people to remain on the Democratic Party's kinder and gentler slave plantation and therefore dependent on government programs. Simon Legree lives, and he's a National Judenrat Democratic Kapo! Note also that NJDC denounces the pledge as "racist" even though it says very clearly that single parenting is bad for children of any race or ethnicity, thus underscoring this organization's long history of dishonesty.

I think NJDC just dug itself into a hole it cannot possibly get out of. This needs to be circulated as widely as possible to make it clear that the NJDC just published on its own Web site an anti-Semitic tirade worthy of Mel Gibson, the difference being that NJDC was stone cold sober when it did this.
NJDC = National Judenrat Democratic Kapos, which is admittedly unfair to kapos (Jews who collaborated with Nazis) because the kapos almost universally acted under duress and would have been killed had they not cooperated. The key here is Jewish and DEMOCRAT with the emphasis on DEMOCRAT.
In simple fact, EVERYTHING the pledge condemns is in fact condemned explicitly in or by implication in the Torah.
The problem with many DEMOCRATs, of ALL religious persuasions is their “Holy Text” is not the Torah or Bible, but the flawed book of secular humanism which has created the moral decay and degeneracy which is destroying our culture.
The God of the Bible brought the first European colonists to America, a land of milk and honey. And the God of the Bible did the same to the ancient Hebrews. And that same Bible warned the Hebrews that the land would “vomit them out” if they failed to follow his precepts in morality and theology.

It sounds like you are accusing me of citing NJDC as representative of mainstream Jews. I said very explicitly that I regard NJDC’s statements as anti-Semitic hate speech directed at me personally, and added that NJDC has been my declared enemy ever since it used its Jewish identity to whitewash MoveOn.org’s anti-Semitic and other hate speech. That is, by saying Jews oppose most of the points in the pledge, NJDC is saying that Jews support the repugnant items indicated. As far as I am concerned, NJDC might as well have posted the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion.
