Verum Serum caught this speech by former Chair of White House Council of Economic Advisers Christina Romer on April 12 of this year. This was after she left the administration. Romer admitted in her speech that they managed to create a “growth-less recovery.”
Romer also admits that Barack Obama knew just how bad the economy really was when before he took office because she told him how bad it was.

RUSH: Here's Christina Romer, April 12th, earlier this year, Washington University in St. Louis. She is the former chairwoman of Obama's White House Council of Economic Advisors.
ROMER: If you ask me, I think what we're experiencing isn't in fact closer to a "growthless" recovery than to a jobless one. Because GDP started to grow more than a year and a half ago, but with the exception of just a couple of quarters, growth has not been noticeably above its trend rate of about 2-1/2 percent a year. I don't rejoice at the news that we added 216,000 jobs in March. About a hundred thousand of that 216,000 is needed every month just to keep up with the growth in the labor force. At this rate of job growth, it would take most of the decade to replace the eight 8-1/2 million jobs that were lost in the recession.
RUSH: It's worse than that, but at least she got pretty close to that. But how about the notion here of a "growthless recovery"? There's no such thing, folks, as a "growthless recovery," by definition. But this is what she was telling the young skulls full of mush at Washington University in St. Louis.

The least we could have done with that money would be to fix the damned roads and hire people to do some sort of work like Roosevelt did, Instead we bought a car complany and made some bankers rich.
With a trillion dollars we could have created a Social Security system that would have been financially safe for 100 years. Instead we tossed it away, and no one knows where it went. has anyone ever looked ot see where it went? Now they want more so they can do it again.
If we don’t get this Kenyan fruit out of the White House soon and do something to wake up the Dumocrats we won’t have anything left to work with.

This is the crap they’re selling at Washington University in St. Louis? LOL! Worth the tuition money, I’d say! If I were a student and they billed me for the semester, I’d just tell them “to pretend I paid it”. They apparently tolerate fantasy.

We have not been in a recovery, we are not in a recovery and until Obama and the dems are removed from power, and the GOP rents a brain and buys a set, there will never be in a recovery.
If you are in a boat far from shore and it starts taking on water, do you hang on and hope for the best, OR, do you throw overboard the bastards that deliberately and continually cut at the hull, bail water and work on fixing the leak?
Our boat is getting awfully full... we can’t just keep hanging on.
