Not long ago, Dr. Mila Means, the physician trying to open an abortion clinic in this city, received a letter advising her to check under her car each morning because maybe today is the day someone places an explosive under it, the note said.

But Dr. Means is certainly not the ideological warrior many expected to fill his void. She said her decision to start performing abortions was as much about making money for her struggling practice as about restoring access to a constitutional right.

She looked at the finances of her solo family practice and figured she might be the poorest doctor in the state. Though she lives modestly, she has had continuing problems managing money: her credit card companies have taken her to court, and her checks occasionally bounce. Determined to work alone, she did not have enough patients to cover the bills.

The NY Slimes will never pass up an opportunity to suggest the pro life movement is violent.

Yes. But that is a very small part of the article. And, it’s even monre that a pro-abortion supported did the notes.
Most of the article is about how low rent the “doctors” who are killing babies are.

Problem: Can’t pay Bills.
Solution: Kill babies.
Who can argue with that logic?
I know, whenever I’m a little short, a look around for a baby to kill. /s
I bet she could make some extra scratch performing lethal injections in prisons. But she is probably opposed to the death penalty. Sort of.
An unprincipled failure - who would ever imagine she would become an “abortion provider”???
Now how's that for rhetoric?
And, lo, the byline is "Sulzberger." I guess it's personal for the Gray Whore.
And everyday citizens receive an implied or inferred threat to obey the fascist pigs in Washington or else, delivered by you commies at the New York Times.
Karma is tough. You leftist pigs have no idea what’s waiting for you.
Oh my goodness. The Times is just a mess. I didn’t click through to read the whole (barf inducing, I’m sure) article, but from the excerpt this woman is a dead beat and a failure and now she wants to kill fetuses FOR THE MONEY.
But, I know that somehow they are going to portray her as not just a victim, but a HERO too.
God help those people, they are a complete mess.

At her last appointment in December, Ms. Lear said, Dr. Means spent more than 40 minutes explaining her change of heart on abortion, speaking in a confessional tone.
This is obviously a propaganda piece, with "facts" included to promote a point of view, and nothing else. As for the credibility of the "facts" presented--they do not pass the smell test.
Clearly, this is not the most skilled physician out there. If she were competent, she would not have been losing patients right and left, nor would she be having financial problems. (When is the last time we heard of a doctor being the top in their field, deciding to change gears and do abortions instead of medical practice, anyway?)
It also stretches credulity to portray her as having a change of heart regarding abortion. It is easy to understand how someone can switch from pro-abortion to pro-life once they learn the facts about fetal development and so forth. But to think that a person could be totally cognizant of the facts and yet switch from being pro-life to being pro-baby killing is simply not believable. A person who is aware of the stages of fetal development and the other issues surrounding abortion and yet is pro-abortion is someone who never was pro-life to begin with.
