You are right. There is a bad tendency among some ‘conservatives’ to see threats where there are none. Christie is a fairly solid social conservative he is very strongly pro-life and pro-traditional marriage and he is very fiscally conservative. Does everything he says impress me no but neither does Sarah Palin or Michele Bachman however the important thing is none of these candidates are our enemies nor should they see each other as such. We have some real aweful candidates running like Mitt Romney who have records only a Democrat would be proud of. Those are our political opponents as much as Obama and we should be careful not to cut off our nose to spite our face.
GeronL, he took on the teachers union. He doesn’t let liberals push him around. We are talking about New Jersey. From what I’ve seen, he is delivering on many campaign promises so far.

I live here and unless you do then you don’t know half of the grief he is giving the libs. Remember the Left never admits they have been beaten but even with that Christie has gotten them so they don’t know what hit them. What he is doing is using their own methods against them and the libs are totally clueless as to what to do. they have lost the greater number of people in the state who pay taxes and all they can do is wail and gnash their teeth.
