WFTV learned on Monday that former U.S. Congressman Alan Grayson is running for office again.

On Monday, Grayson said he doesn't plan to do anything different. He said he's running again because of all the people who have reached out and asked him to. Grayson already raised nearly $100,000 in donations before filing his paperwork on Monday.

"We need somebody who's gonna stick up for what's right. Somebody with guts," Grayson said.

During Grayson's last campaign an ad referred to his opponent, Daniel Webster, as Taliban Dan. Grayson lost his District 8 Congressional seat to Webster after a highly controversial campaign.

Doesn’t look like that PMSNBC gig he was hoping for is going to pan out.

>> It’s worth noting that there may be a new Congressional district drawn in central Florida. As a result, Alan Grayson may run there instead of seeking a rematch against Daniel Webster. <<

Hope he's dumb enough to seek a rematch with Daniel Webster. His out-of-control ego may demand it. We should all encourage him to do so to "vindicate" his 2010 loss.

Most Dims would vote for Hitler or Donald Duck if they had a “D” by the name.

I see that he may run for an open seat rather than challenge Webster. Unless the seat is hyper-Dem, it is highly unlikely he could win anything again given his deranged reputation.

The question is will they draw an Orlando-based rat seat?

If they do he could theoretically win that though being of the Caucasian persuasion could doom him in the primary.

Grayson is the gift that keeps on giving. I wouldn’t want to give up a GOP seat to him, but if he wins in a decidedly rat seat, so be it. Putting a face and mouth like his on the rat brand is a boon to the GOP.

Quite, it's like the case Cynthia McKinney as DJ has pointed out. We shouldn't have wanted her gone unless she was replaced by a Republican or at least a moderate rat that would occasionally throw an important vote our way.

Her successor Hank Johnson is almost as liberal as her but has a quiet, harmless image that is of no use to us.

Grayson running against a Black or Hispanic rat for a safe rat seat would be a hoot.

Johnson is the tuckfard who thinks Guam might tip over. He’s almost as big a buffoon as Jihad Cindy.

Ah I forgot about that. That was useful. The point remains though, idiot democrats opening there mouths=good.

Dude certainly sounds like he’s on something.

Idea: Drug test members of congress and make the results public. What do you think?

Absolutely. Anyone getting taxpayer $$ should be drug-tested, be they Congressmembers or welfare recipients.

Imagine if they didn’t let druggies collect welfare. That would save half of the welfare budget, at least. Certainly enough to defray the cost of the testing.

Now you’re talking!!!

Eliminate welfare, deport illegals, shut off most immigration and POOF!

Problems mostly solved.
