President Obama on Tuesday said he cannot guarantee that retirees will receive their Social Security checks August 3 if Democrats and Republicans in Washington do not reach an agreement on reducing the deficit in the coming weeks. The question is, are they up to the task, are they up to showing that if SS checks are cut off, what other ‘benefits’ will NOT be affected and will keep rollin’ in? If they can’t do this (and he’s giving them precious little time to respond with a full-blown argument), they will lose, and they’ll be blamed for people not getting their checks.
Obama has always seems determined to bring everything to a head , and create a rebellion among the American people.
He’s still gambling that the rebellion will all be on HIS side, and will benefit HIM.
He is as foul as they come. America elected a tin-horn dictator determined to create a permanent state of crisis, deepened beyond anything we’ve seen so far, and plunge America into a second Civil War, or a second American Revolution. A lot of us saw this coming the day he was elected.

You are so right-—that picture literally defines the budget issue. Just replace the flags with the donkey and the elephant (although the liberals would never hold guns...perhaps their guy would be waving a lawsuit instead, or be clad in black robes swinging a gavel).
Of course the SS check can go out. The EPA may have to shut down and a few other worthless agencies which would be a plus plus.
I’m assuming that POTUS and family are still planning on taking that pricey vacation on the taxpayer’s dime, though...
