Today in Atlanta, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lisa P. Jackson announced that EPA is awarding more than $6.2 million in national environmental workforce development and job training grants to 21 grantees… Twenty-one governmental entities and non-profit organizations in twenty states are receiving up to $300,000 each to train individuals in the cleanup (and) other environmental skills… We’re looking to the people and community organizations who know these areas best to find the places where green jobs and environmental protection are going to do the most good."

Well they had to funnel some money to Van Jones somehow. He can’t collect a direct public paycheck anymore, so we’ll pay him and his ‘green and red revolution’ $300k a clip - which by the looks of it is starting with free home repairs for people in Atlanta. Let me guess - they are Eric Holder’s peeps.

We have numerous remodels going on near us in CA. They come in and decide that because of the age of the house, you must call in specialist to demo it and keep all the lead and asbestos from floating around. Costs a lot and delays the whole process. A bunch of buys walking around in white suits..while the dust cloud goes next door. 30k later..with the money going to “certified” abatement contractors..you are free to go ahead with the remodel. Real BS..and a lot of the small contractors are just ignoring the requirement.

Well the “community organizer”, recips are a matter of some concern for sure, and few of the tax payers funding is going to any valid HUD or EPA. How many of our other Federal agencies are forking up cash for these pre election activities?

Norm this business has nothing to do with jobs and it sure isn’t just EPA.
Its our federal tax dollars going to “grass roots community organizers”, to help “get out the vote.”
In places like Chicago they call it walk around money. There it is provided by ward bosses, their thugs and local taxes.

Minorities could care less about “the environment”. This is a white liberal issue. This EPA money is going straight into the pockets of Eric Holder’s people. This is handouts. Make work. A slush fund. They’ll put one or two solar panels on a school or community center.
