The backers of the controversial "Ground Zero Mosque" have won a court fight clearing the way for them to build the mosque and community center complex two blocks from the site of the 9/11 terror attack.
In a decision on Friday that was made public today, New York State Supreme Justice Paul Feinman dismissed a lawsuit by former firefighter Timothy Brown who argued that New York City was wrong to allow the destruction of a 150-year-old building to make way for the Islamic center.

Progressives are progressives first. You used the word liberal, which is the same difference often times.

I am completely o.k. with the mosque being built two blocks from a still unfinished ground zero. The unfinished ground zero so many years later, is what I am not o.k. with.
We as a nation needed to show our strength by rebuilding two new towers in the same foot prints. Taller and stronger than ever. Instead we look slow+sensitive.. with this seemingly forever build and crying about a mosque.
A pox on everyone involved in and supporting this travesty.
