AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Newton case is much like the Reggie Bush case. The NCAA waited to come down on the school and player until after his popularity faded. Only then did they void the records. I’m guessing that ESPN felt they would just give the awards to others from the get-go.

Most of what both the NCAA and ESPN do is political.

McConnell: “We won’t be the tax collectors for 0bama’s spending”.

BRILLIANT! He’s good once in a row...

That is a definite possibility. The food, water, air, everything would be under Caligula's control. No reason at all to go to Camp David.

Further, Boehner could say, "budgets come from the House, there is no need at all to include the White House." It is a courtesy to include Caligula.

exactly; you can be certain no good could possibly come from moving the discussion to Camp David.

When you have done radio as long as Rush its hard to make every show stellar. Undoubtedly some shows are better than others. His skills however have not diminished.
Fatigue is a factor. After 25-30 years of radio we all get worn out especially at his level.

Oh man could imagine if Boehner actually said something like:

Budgets are a matter for the house. We include the President at our convenience, not his.

lol; it is possible we could be reaching a turning point with our Repubs?

I was shocked to see Boehner give a press-conference rebuttal within an hour after BHO’s peas presser the other day.

For the record, Newton single handedly pulled out the game against LSU last year. That performance was the best I saw from anyone last season. Had the NCAA been consistent, Newton would not have been in the championship game. The same season, they voided another player for the same offense, simply not as big of a name.

Hubby just emailed me a quote from Vodka Pundit Stephen Green, “The President has had two year and a half years to do thinks his way and we’re out jobs, we’re out of cash and we’re about to be out of credit.”

Rush is hammering another nail, this time with a 16 pound sledge hammer.

The media are not the decision makers in all things Political, Military and Economic. But, while they had their monopoly on the news, they were able to spin it, making themselves a force that mattered, and thus were able to compel politicians to act counter to their own good judgment. Times have changed, and politicians are not only better informed, they have more protection from media harpies. The media are saddened, like the madam of a famous brothel that is soon to close.

What would Jesus do? He does NOT command us to go into debt to help the poor.

Good conservative guy....Dislike his obsession with online gambling. Not the government’s place to determine what is good for us or not, imho.

IIRC, he’s very pro-life.
