This is just wonderful.

I’m so thrilled to know that congress is willing to abdicate its fiscal responsibilities and empower the executive branch with the authority to saddle us with debt.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Boehner is testing the strength of his voice.

Remember, these people are living ina bubble, surrounded by largely gay reporters screaming “WILL YOU STARVE GRANDMA!” at them.

They are under tremendous pressure right now, from both the folks at home, and the whacckjobs in the media.

Of course, they are.

But, for the past twenty years, they've paid more attention to the "reporters in the bubble" than they have to the "folks back home".

It is past time for them to do what they should know is the right thing to do.

How about take charge and write a reasonable increase WITH reasonable cuts?

Agreed. I just wish that our side was talking about tying cuts to this year's budget to any raise in the debt limit, rather than this obtuse talk of non-specific cuts over 10 years. Part of me still secretly hopes that no agreement can be reached, so that cuts are made by virtue of not being able to borrow money. However, I know that we cannot trust Obama to cut the pieces that need to be cut.

Awful times. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. I estimate that about 70% of our leaders are utterly untrustworthy. Nothing they say can be believed. Same for so many of our citizens.

The Racket. They’re insulated from inflation with this debt increase....

Their goal: Durable Power of Attorney over every American.

(and they have part of it, through Vampire-Care.

When our RINO congress is done, there will not be a House Speaker, or a House, or a Senate.

Just obama unleashed.
