Anyone claiming to be 'shocked' by the fact that the MSM routinely slants the news in a way that serves the left must have been living on another planet for the past few decades. Of course most Americans are opposed to raising the federal debt 'ceiling'. They realize that when you've maxed out your credit card, getting a higher limit on it so you can spend more and go further into debt is a foolish idea. That the networks ignore the people's opinions (when they don't match those of the left) is simply what they've been doing for lo these many years - and why their ratings are circling the drain.
