Or that they didn’t embrace “green” technology.

China has to know that would be futile. South Korea is armed to the teeth behind every public edifice against any possible advance by North Korea into their territory. China can fuhgeddaboudit. But, if North Korea demonstrated that it was willing to be a neighbor at peace with South Korea, commerce would open overnight.

It’s not my kuliana personally, and not America’s kuliana nationally.

The Chicoms could help. The South Koreans could help. As reparations, the Japanese could help.

Nobody’s feeding them. No body’s forcing room temerature on Beloved Leader either, including the citizenry itself, who have had decades to get it done.

“. . the Marxists of the world - for instance, our present administration - never seem to learn, do they?”

No, they keep thinking that no one ever did it as SMART as they are or will; just think THEY’RE the right ones to do it this time. - The millions of corpses they have left in their wake in the last hundred years would beg to differ if they only could.

Let them eat Kim and co. since that is why they’re starving.

To paraphrase from the movie Sahara:

Food for guns. A rifle gets them a sandwich. A missile gets them 3 Large Supreme Pizzas. A nuke gets them a full thanksgiving turkey dinner for 25 people, including cranberries & oyster dressing.

Take it or leave it.

Speaking of communism, Obama would have us starve before cutting government spending.

I have heard that the South Koreans do TRY to help....but...you must know that anything that goes into N. Korea is probably tightly controlled, and the military and Kim Jong & cohorts get everything....that’s why there is no insurgence....the military is well fed...unlike regular citizens...so, if you are starving...what would YOU do...??? Join the military?

The only thing that it seems could be done is to BOMB the place where “dear leader” and friends are to smithereens...and then attack....but, then...we have a WAR, and maybe even a war with CHINA...

“North Korea faces famine: ‘Tell the world we are starving’”

Logic would dictate giving up Socialism and switching to capitalism, showcased beautifully, if smokily, next door in Communist China.

The lack of help from “the world” is motivated by the item on the hidden world rulers’ agenda to decrease the world’s population. They are glad North Koreans are dying.

-——IF they didn’t have to spend most of their resources on their military——

The man worked in a textile machinery factory. Who would buy north Korean textile machinery? How many textile machines does north Korea need?

One of Mao's “Great Leap Forward” campaigns was directed at songbirds which were said to be eating too much of the peoples’ grain. Nests were destroyed and live birds were netted and killed.
The result was large losses to insects.

The part of the world that is familiar with the various economic systems and recognizes communism for what it really is already knows they’re starving. That’s the way it works — we saw it in the former Soviet Union, Cuba, and saw it in China until they engineered a hybrid system of “communist capitalism.”

Yet the Marxists of the world - for instance, our present administration - never seem to learn, do they?

*************************************************************************************

They just learned a different lesson which has little to do with economics - Lenin’s doctrine that the purpose of power is its exercise; that Terror is the chief tool of statecraft and governance; that the only serious political question is “Who-Whom?” - who gets to live and who gets to die.

Socialism is a death cult.

To give them any aid would to be an accomplice in their continued enslavement.

Actually, the Norks get quite a bit of international humanitarian aid. Like most cases of starvation in the world, the reason for the starvation is political. In the case of North Korea, nearly every bit of that aid goes straight to their military, I believe the 3rd or 4th largest in the world.

The "famine" is directly due to the will of their "dear leader."

Ah yes, Mao, the great humanitarian. China still stands by and does nothing to help. It bothers me greatly that the world stands by and watches with little protest as these people die from hunger. Normal attempts at humanitarian aid will not work. During the last famine hunger relief packages were appropriated by Kim Jong Il for the North Korean elite. If we can take out Bin Laden..........just saying.
