(AUDIO AT LINK)

Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts, trashed President Obama on a company conference call today. Below are the most damning portions of the call:

I believe in Las Vegas. I think its best days are ahead of it. But I'm afraid to do anything in the current political environment in the United States.

Flippin' *sweet*.

Think it'd make a good T-shirt? I guess all we'd have to do is photoshop the last "e" in Newsweek to make it "Newsweak" and change the helicopter and the bird to avoid copyright problems...?

Cheers!

“It was idiots like STEVE WYNN who bought in to the media HYPE of Obama, and supported him, and who ignored what Obama actually SAID, that are responsible for this mess.

It’s not like Obama didn’t TELL anyone who was listening what he intended to do.”

####

The ONLY reason any businessman would vote Democrat is that he is looking for a government provided inside track, cheating his potential competition.

Wynn just didn’t get the anticipated goodies he wanted from Obama, and in the future (and with his “wife’s influence”), I’ll bet he votes for every Communist hacked up from the phlegm in the diseased lungs of the Democrat Party.

I consider myself a staunch conservative both socially and fiscally yet I voted for the democrat Jim Florio in 1993 against Christy Whitman in the governor’s race. The only democrat I ever voted for and he lost! Does that make me a bad guy? I have nightmares often about this.

Bully for Steve Wynn, I guess this means he’s not in Dick Obama’s stable of crony capitalists.

The guy keeps making speeches about redistribution and maybe we ought to do something to businesses that don't invest, their holding too much money. We haven't heard that kind of talk except from pure socialists.

Buyer's remorse from a crony capitalist - priceless!

Thanks for the links STARWISE. I’d seen one of them before and congratulated Wynn on that thread some time ago.

Thanks for the link(s), Dick Vomer. (I’ve seen it before but worth revisiting in this thread)

On 9/9 5:07...

“Very soon it will go (snaps fingers) just overnight. If we are talking about capitalists, wealthy businessmen, I think they are selling the rope on which they will hang very soon.”

On 9/9 3;45...

“Force United States government to stop aiding communism.”

From “The Law”...

Now, legal plunder can be committed in an infinite number of ways. Thus we have an infinite number of plans for organizing it: tariffs, protection, benefits, subsidies, encouragements, progressive taxation, public schools, guaranteed jobs, guaranteed profits, minimum wages, a right to relief, a right to the tools of labor, free credit, and so on, and so on. All these plans as a whole — with their common aim of legal plunder — constitute socialism.

Now, since under this definition socialism is a body of doctrine, what attack can be made against it other than a war of doctrine? If you find this socialistic doctrine to be false, absurd, and evil, then refute it. And the more false, the more absurd, and the more evil it is, the easier it will be to refute. Above all, if you wish to be strong, begin by rooting out every particle of socialism that may have crept into your legislation. This will be no light task.

Frederic Bastiat 1801-1850

It’s the socialism, stupid. DEFUND socialist collectives, foreign and domestic.

IMO, Wynn needs to volunteer for all of us to repeatedly kick him in the nuts.

He was a strong 0bama supporter and helped get him elected, and is still a democrat,

but is saying that 0bama is a “pure socialist”.

Where were you, m’boy, back in 2008 when we were ALL TELLING YOU THIS?

Las Vegas businessman Steve Wynn represents TOO MANY of the current class of folks with powerful positions in our culture and businesses. Even though Steve has a clear eyed view of the disease that is Obama, Steve doesn’t see or doesn’t care to see the wide-spread cancer in the background.

Steve still says he’s a Democrat and supports Harry Reid. In other words Steve is FEEDING the cancer. Just like so many of the currently elite and currently powerful. They are ignoring the pervasive structural damage, the body cancer and rot, everywhere.

They see only their individual benefit, those being direct benefits to their holdings and to the enterprises they run. Obama has knocked Las Vegas again and again. Obama has put a real damper—a super wet blanket—on all aspects of the business of Las Vegas.

Steve credits his own corrupt crony—Senator Reid—in DC, he credits his gang’s colors “I’m a Democrat”. Steve is happy being part of the EVERYONE else’s problem. Mr. Wynn is only unhappy and complaining that now the problems have been dumped like the bloody head of a prize horse on HIS OWN bed.

Maybe even the blind will start seeing the bigger problem, that being the Democratic party, its ideals, its establishment, maybe with some help of the more far-sighted, these vision-limited elite men and women like Steve can navigate the gaming floor of life. Maybe he’ll start listening to the words of we Conservatives, and let us guide his arms through the growing darkness.

In that research by Fedora...

Steve Wynn, a casino developer who used profits from a 1970 deal involving Howard Hughes and Caesar’s Palace to purchase the Golden Nugget; described in a Scotland Yard report as a front man for New York’s Genovese Mafia family.

Sorry about that, I let the site lapse after the election. If you have an interest in the Harry stuff, I can put it up on another website. It is juicy stuff, like writing the movie Casino. I could use supporters from outside the state, I have to tiptoe here so I don’t get blowed up.
