Agree if Rubio will do it.

We here in WI have been putting pressure on Paul Ryan to run. It’s not going to happen. Can you imagine? I’d pay per view a Ryan/Teleprompter debate. Rubio or Ryan. They’re young, holding their positions. They are not going to run.

Agreed. Let’s see what a Christie / Rubio would do.

Parents were cuban exiles and he was born in Miami.

Remind me: What did Sarah Palin do in 2008?
______________________________________________________________

She breathed life and excitement into a campaign that was DOA before it started. She kept the old fart, Johnny McLame, from getting an a** whoopin’ comparable to the same one McGovern got in ‘72 and Mondale got in ‘84. Anything else I can “remind” you of Glenn?

Consider this:

Baraq only got 53% against McLame and a demoralized R party.
This was “messiah” Baraq.

Now we’ve got the “real” Baraq with 9% unemployment, $4 gas, surging food prices, and recurring $1.5 trillion deficits.

ANYBODY will defeat Obama in a 2-way race. The Carville Precept prevails.

Nominating Romney guarantees a Tea Party challenger and a likely Clintonian plurality win for Obama.

30K people showed up at events where Palin was. McCain got 200.

He’s not constitutionally eligible.

Actually, Rubio may have a loophole. Rubio's parents were born in the 1920s-30s in Cuba. At this time, Cuba was an American Protectorate as a result of the Spanish-American war. A little legal loophole allowed citizens of Cuba, Guam, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico as dual American citizens for about a half-century after the Spanish-American war.

Well, what I fear is that I just don’t see any of the current crop making it, other than Romney, who, I think, just might pull it off because of the economy. Perry could. Christie could. But, they’re not in . . . yet. We’ll see.

Polls at this point are next to useless. Open your eyes and look at (and listen to) the candidates. Romney is still an incredibly awkward retail politician who transparently panders according to his many consultants’ strategy of the hour. Ombama-lite isn’t going to beat Obama.

Give me one positive reason to consider Milt next November, other than that he is not Obama. We need to vote for a candidate who will make a REAL difference if elected, such as Gov. Palin! Frankly, I loathe Milt, and I think that most conservatives who have paid attention to his disgusting record as Ma. Governor do as well. Bob

Whatever happens, yes, Rubio is the party’s best spokesman by far!

That said, Rubio just got to Congress and America will not make the mistake of electing a newbie again.

Rubio needs to get a few more gray hairs and more Senate experience. Then, in a few years, he will be a political powerhouse.

He would benefit from being the Keynote Speaker at the Republican convention this year.

Remember when the McCain camp finally said, go out there and have fun? Too late then, like all McCain decisions. They unleashed her. They couldn’t contain her like they hoped.

Christie, who’s working to take away Medicaid from families of three earning less than $6K a year? That’s not going to fly nationally either, despite how many conservatives like his braggadocio.
