He didn’t sound soft to me, when I heard him speak about it during his campaign.

I've seen Rubio's performance on CBS with Bob Schieffer and it was stellar. He played Schieffer like a violin and came off looking very well. What I liked was Rubio's confidence. He didn't try to spin but laid it out on the line as to what needed to be done with the budget.

Rubio kept emphasizing the point that the problem was the debt and not debt limit. He was extremely articulate and handled Schieffer with complete ease. I was very impressed but not surprised. I've noticed just how good Rubio is in front of the camera. He seems very comfortable and debates really well. I think he believes that it's too soon for him to run for president but I agree with Goldberg that Rubio would make an excellent candidate for VP, that is if he wants it.

Christie? LOL, what a Rino in sheep’s clothing. All you Christie fans need to look at this guy. They only thing you like about him is he hates teacher unions and has a big mouth. Dig deeper. He’s a freaking rino, on the verge of Lieberman.

How is Rubio not eligible?
______________________________________________________________
Please don’t even ask that and get the “birthers” started. He’s eligible to run. Just ignore any comments to the contrary.

I think McCain said that in the beginning, then her handlers scripted her every move. Why they couldn’t have allowed her to be the woman who delivered the most electrifying GOP speech ever *after her teleprompter broke* I’ll never know. Maybe they didn’t want Juan to be upstaged any longer! Bob

Romney is poison to enough conservatives that he’d likely lose 10% of the potential anti-Obama votes.

That’s probably enough to give Baraq a Clintonian plurality win.

I don’t care if Rubio or even Palin is on the ticket as VP, I’m still never voting for Romney!

I predict Perry/Rubio.

That would probably satisfy the big tent of the Repub party. Yes, I would love to see someone with Perry's experience and Rubio's Tea Party appeal. The plan is that by Perry's second term Rubio will be ready to succeed him.
