So much for the liberal shibboleth idea that Fox is a rabid, right-winger news source. I guess you could call the split in contributions “Fair and Balanced”?

Murdoch's British newspapers supported the Labour Party for decades. He especially promoted leftist Tony Blair to whom he promised a job after Blair stepped down. His media outlets throughout England took no position of support during the election efforts of now Prime Minister Cameron, a Tory.

I have relatives who live in London. They are Tories. They know that Americans went ga-ga over Blair because of his support in Desert Storm and his winsome oratorical appeal.

However, the reality was that Blair and the radical socialists and marxists in his government were leading their country's economic health down precisely the same destructive and perhaps fatal path as Obama is leading ours at the moment.

Murdoch's son and probable company heir is said to be even more to the socialist left than is Rupert.

No surprise.

Corporations tend to ‘support’ both parties, usually giving more to the party in power. AKA, greasing the skids. That's how they get their lobbyists in with the Washington power brokers.
