Indoctrinating a new generation with the religion of Gaia.
This brain-dead quote made me laugh and cry at the same time:
With the earthquakes, tornadoes, melting icebergs and all the other problems threatening the world right now, Earth really needs her greatest defender, said Montford.

Gotta catch those young skulls full of mush.
Sadly there will be young adults who will think
it’s kewl that a cartoon character from THEIR
childhood is being made into a movie to indoctrinate
their children.

I remember Space Ghost. Shoot first, ask questions later and whole planets sometimes destroyed during a battle. Now that’s entertainment.

Captain Planet was the worst piece of garbage propaganda cartoon I ever saw. It actually embarassed me how they expected kids to fall for that hogwash. People will laugh at a live action movie with this absurd premise. It will bomb worse than “Hoot”.

Hah, thanks for giving me a laugh by posting this latest Hollywood foolishness. Everyone remember, the power (to ignore this film and not buy a ticket for it) is yours!

Whoopi Goldberg (Gaia) You need at least one magic negro in a movie like this.

I loved cartoons like Star Blazers when I was a kid. They were very well written and had complex plots and lots of action. In fact it was written as a serial, with one episode leading to the next. And it was bold for a children’s cartoon, with the Captain DYING in one episode.
