PESHAWAR, July 21 2011. President Federation Pakistan Chamber Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Senator Haji Ghulam Ali stated objections over Pak Afghan Trade Agreement and said if Pakistani government did not form a comprehensive policy for business community; the industrialists would be compelled to shift their business to other countries. He was addressing in Peshawar press club on Thursday, the senator has inform the journalist that 70 percent industries had closed owning to worst situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The prevailing weakening law and order situation, unnecessary load shedding and increase in unemployment, he said the federal and provincial governments had failed in overcoming the problems being faced by the nation and they could not restore peace in the country. Senator Ghulam Ali said in such circumstances, no foreign investor would come to Pakistan for investments in different sectors saying unless the government gave a soft and peaceful atmosphere to them, they would definite would take interest in investing in the country. Ghulam Ali, who is also Chairman of Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting, regretted that the government had allocated Rs 10 billion for Chashma Left Canal (CLC) while it was project of Rs 70 billion which were not as much of amount for completion of the CLC on time. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, the senator, who was former District Nazim Peshawar, criticized the provincial government for taking credits of different developmental works including net hydle profit Rs 110 billion, he added were initiated by Mottahidda Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) government. Criticizing the provincial ministers, the JUI-F leader Haji Ghulam Ali accused them of looting the national treasure with both hands and said for only Rs 1 million developmental schemes, the ministers installed three cornerstones for their personal projection. He said the government was deceiving the people of the province by claiming that over 60 percent peace had been restored. The peace, he added kidnapping had become an industry in the province and the civilians were feeling insecure in ANP-led government. On the occasion, the FPCCI president senator Ghulam Ali challenged the provincial government for an open debate on peace, developmental schemes compared to the MMA government
