Video - Reid: Cut, Cap And Balance Is "Over, Done And Dead"
From the White House Dossier article:
An analysis by former Bush National Economic Council Director Keith Hennessey of the Senate Gang of Six proposal finds that the plan would raise taxes by $2.3 trillion over ten years.
The authors of the Gang of Six Plan themselves state that CBO would score the plan as reducing taxes by $1.5 trillion. If CBO scored this plan, it would find net tax relief of approximately $1.5 trillion, the Gang states.
According to Hennessey, this is a carefully worded phrase, because CBO scores relative to current law.
So, subtract the $1.5 trillion reduction from $3.8 trillion the tax increase scheduled under current law and you get $2.3 trillion in tax increases still set to go in effect over ten years under current law if the Gangs plan is passed.
I'm being optimistic of course. I'm assuming this bunch of criminals will be kicked out of office.
Actual title: Gang of Six Plan Would Increase Taxes by $2.3 trillion
My post begins with a Youtube video of the Senate rejecting the House bill.
What say you post your material your way and I'll respect that and I'll post my material my way and you respect that. Otherwise, you can kiss my a$$
Yeah.
The author of the piece, or his editor gave it a title.
You have made up one of your own.

“Gang of Six Plan Would Increase Taxes by $2.3 trillion”
You didn’t like that title so you made up your own.
Like re-naming someone else’s kid. What the hell is wrong with you?

Looks like we don’t need a budget then.
Nor does it look like we need a senate or any stupid senators either.
We can really count on McCain can’t we.
You did the same thing a couple of days ago:

You just helter-skelter make up any title you like?
For someone else’s material?
You’re a damn copyright violation nightmare!
What the hell is wrong with you?
Manchin is so independent, too. Thanks, West Virginia.
Those elections last Nov were flat out stolen.
Glad Joe Miller survived the ‘crash’ on his election night victory in the primary.
All his boasting on Hannity’s radio show about being in the forefront of the battle...guess I should have realized he didn’t say for which side.
The House Republicans put forward a solution to the problem and the Senate Republicans (excepting that stain McCain) backed them up. The democrats killed that solution.
Don’t expect ABC/NPR/NYT/CBS/PMSDNC/LAT/NBC and the rest to portray it that way.
The Senate did not reject CCB. They didn’t even consider it.
They didn’t debate it.
They didn’t attempt any changes to it.
They did nothing.
Obama needs to tell Harry to open up debate on CCB.
Easy.
How about Murky....Didn’t she steal the election as an indy?

Yes.
