He likes hunting. Hence why he has at least two legally owned guns. It is not hard to get a gun in Norway. We have gun ownership rates close to the US and Switzerland. Personally I am starting to think we need more damn gun control. For Norway that is, not the US.
I a currently reading through posts he has made at various political forums. He would fit in here at free republic. I agree with most of what he says so far. Here he would be a moderate. One of his favourite authors is John Stuart Mill.
He recently started a firm growing vegetables. Allowing him to buy large quantities of fertilizer.
He opened up twitter and facebook accounts just recently and quoted John Stuart Mill:

Even if these early reports about Breivik are true, you'll be amazed at how long it takes people to cook and consume their birds.....people clung to the thinnest shreds of of any link of the Virginia Tech shooter to Islam that could be concocted for WEEKS.
Plain ridiculous to try and steer from the reports that a terror organization took credit. The org probably recruited him since he is unstable, even had him set up the page to keep authorities from red flags. No way this guy put together this bomb by himself.
I’ll wait and see. I’d like a little more than a new Facebook page before I accept any conclusions. Anyone capable of planning a time bomb in the truck and then shooting up some teenagers at camp (assuming he acted alone) is capable of putting up a false flag identity on the Internet in his final preparation week. Conservative? I doubt it. Soviet socialist, national socialist, non-Judeo-Christian religious extremist? Much more likely. In any case, we’ll see.
And watch out for those extra vigorous pat downs when you go through airports

This guy does sound “like us”.... Concerned about multiculturalim. As is Merkel and Cameron so hardly controversial these days. He sounds for instance far more moderate than Wilders, though he admires Wilders.

Hmm... Reminds me of all those bogus, agenda-driven Jared Loughner facebook profiles that popped up moments after Loughner was listed as the primary suspect in the Tucson shooting.

I just heard a news interview of a Norwegian journalist who had been on the island 2 hours before the attack. He reported that a man answering the description of the man captured on the island was seen 2 hours earlier at the bomb site. The report also said 10 dead on the island and 7 at the bomb site.
Remember when the Army Major went Jihad at Fort Hood? The left and the eneMedia (I repeat myself) cautioned that there was no known motive.
Remember how the Jihadists attacked recruiting offices? We were cautioned to avoid linking religion/politics to the attacks.
How about the Times Square Bomber and the Underwear Bomber? They were just isolated incidents.
How soon will we be told that this knucklehead’s behavior is endemic of Racist, Christian, Conservative ideology?
It has worked for us so far.
Anyhow that is another debate.
Let’s Americans make their own laws, and Norwegians make theirs. National sovereignty is a good thing.
