The source, who intends to dial into the telephone conference, anticipates hearing from House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) of a deal reached by congressional leaders to raise the debt ceiling before the Aug. 2nd deadline.

On Saturday, Boehner told his colleagues that Senate and House leaders want to announce a a deal to more forward before 4pm Sunday to avoid spooking Asian financial markets.

What he really should say is he wants to avoid spooking the American markets. Traders at the NYSE, as well as US and international investors will all be watching Asian markets and panic there can spread very quickly.

Trying to understand what the RINOs are doing? House passed CCB; Senate tabled. Seems to me the DIMS own the problem now. What am I missing? When did we suddenly care about the Asian markets?

It’s a very good question. Boehner is, again, “bending over backwards”. Some call that caving - I call it covering all possible bases.

No, any debt limit increase must be earmarked for Social Security (including Medicare/Medicaid) and military pay and for no other purpose. Pass that, and that alone in the H9ouse, and let Dear Leader & Senate DeomRats kill THAT and see where it gets them.

We really need to ignore the phony deadlines and just get it done right. The markets have the ability to hedge, and most likely have largely done so.

Boner has been convinced that the world will end if the debt limit is not increased. Maybe he simply does not want to see this happen no matter who gets blamed.

Or maybe he’s just a chicken poop.

“Boehner is, again, “bending over backwards”.”

We need for him to stand straight. Republicans have been bending over for decades and helped put us into the untenable economic position we find ourselves in today.

Boner is just a chicken poop. My 21 year old son would do a better job of negotiating than Boner is. The Republicans are in the position of strength.

All they need do is refuse to raise the debt ceiling, period. End of negotiations. Just say no to the debt ceiling being raised.

Then make it clear there will be NO raising of taxes, period. End of negotiations.

Then get Ron and Rand Paul to explain where the federal government needs to be cut, and cut there, period. End of negotiations.

And while we're at it, get the U.S. out of the U.N and the U.N out of the U.S.. And while were at it, audit the Federal Reserve and take away its power. And while we're at it, pass term limits. No more career politicians. And while we're at it, remove all exemptions Congress has from the laws of this country.

Then take a break. No, it's not everything but it's a start. Anything less is simply not enough. These actions will give the senate and the presidency to the Republicans. Anything less and it's time to form a third party.

If we see the US Treas futures declining this evening, you can be assured the fed will be actively involved in buying same thru surrogates tonight and more directly tomorrow. Just as in the past they are perfectly willing to expose the nation to ultimate bankruptcy in order to save Obama, Goldman Sachs, J P Morgan and their corrupt buddies on Wall Street.

Your right everyday the democrat strategy of let the Republicans Propose and we Attack and criticize but offer no alternative. So keep doing it,and everyday note that again the democrats offer nothing but tax increases and criticism.
I know there were stories recently saying one party is waiting for the other to go first so they could be Criticised,lo and Behold look at what has happened! Of Course the Tag Team of the main Stream Media and Democrat Marxists are doing Government shut down Redux titled,WE BLAME THE REPUBLICAN DOLTS AGAIN!
Nevermind in this so called Armageddon all Obama has proposed,Months ago,was a Budget shot down by a 97 to o vote. And that INCREASES SPENDING by 10 TRILLION dollars over the next 10 years! So who is he kidding when he says he wants to be fiscally Responsible,NO ONE BUT THE ASSES in the press. I dont know why the Republicans let this fraud off the Hook Continously. I will be Charitable and HOPE it is out of Respect for the Office of President, not the Present occupant

What he really should say is he wants to avoid spooking the American markets.

That should not be a factor in any GOP decision-making.

Money in the market is at risk. If you don't like that, buy gold.

If they had “respect for the office” they would have objected to him being on the ballot for not being natural born.
