Eight Hundred Days Without A Budget-A new milestone in Democrat Party governance is reached.

Democrats have controlled the Senate and the White House since the election of 2008, and the House of Representatives up until this year.  Certainly they could have passed any budget they desired, including one with tax increases and spending increases.  But they chose to ignore the 800-day gorilla in the room because they don't want to be on record supporting a budget that actually does what they want.  Then the public could hold them accountable for their cowardly and irresponsible behavior in the face of national fiscal calamity.

I searched and did not find this.

Back in May, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) stated, “There’s no need to have a Democratic budget in my opinion.  It would be foolish for us to do a budget at this stage.”  Does he still consider it “foolish” fifty days later?

"Democrats have controlled the Senate and the White House since the election of 2008, ..."

Errrrr... Democrats won the House & Senate in Nov 2006 and controlled the House and Senate from Jan 2007 all they way to Jan 2011.

Why?

Why does the Senate leader want no budget at all?
Why does the House minority leader want no budget deal at all?

Why does the sitting President not want to pay for the ‘things’ he wants?

Few believe the answer to those questions. Even fewer want to believe it.

Why? I don’t know the exact fiscal mechanism, but the net result of no budget is running the govt on “auto-pilot”. Things like one-time $787 billion stimuli just continue, and become all-time instead because it becomes the default.

The old milestone in Democrat Party governance was 799 days? Was that during the first depression?

“Companies that don’t have a budget or Countries usually end up in Bankruptcy.”

Yes, a sure sign that something is terribly rotten. 800 days without a budget screams the fact that the country is in far worse shape than the damned traitors in power want to admit. We are being lied to, actively and by omission. And the lapdog media are worse than useless; they are an accessory to the crime.

Is this not in violation of the Constitution of the United States? If so, what is being done about it? If nothing, shouldn’t someone be brought before the Supreme Court?
