Watching the Boehner, Pelosi, Reid and Onada budget dance is more painful than having to watch Helen Thomas pole dance—in the nude.

I like the April 2012 date...right about tax time, and with the many surprises in the tax code obamacare has in store. But if the “cuts” are a trillion over ten years or some such—fergeddahboudit. That’s chump change, even if it happens, which btw it won’t.
Nobody but traders really cares about the "Asian market," mainly because the "Asian market" follows the American markets it doesn't lead them.

I remember when Bush had it all and spending was through the roof. Bush never met a spending bill he didn't like. You gotta show folks that you'll fight now with what you have—the House—because we already know what's like when they have everything and don't fight at all.

Boehner to this point has been a pleasant surprise.

Bush was not a fiscal conservative. We had a House leadership that was asleep at the wheel.
Solution: Nominate fiscal conservatives. Primary RINOs.
But dont expect the moon when Obama is in the WH.

I agree. The first debt ceiling increase with spending cuts ... it’s a start.

From day one I've thought of this as Carter's second term. Saw an artice recently that speculated Oblama was more Gorbachev than Carter...fighting to stave off collapse of a corrupt system.
