SAN DIEGO — One of five people charged in the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent admitted Tuesday that the motivation behind the ambush killing was to rob the agent's night vision equipment.

Emilio Gonzales pleaded guilty to murder of a federal officer in court and faces life in prison when he is sentenced Oct. 17.

That’s cold, especially given how well funded most of these gangs are and how cheaply night goggles can be had from China.

I think we should take Obama’s advice and “Feel free to keep the heat on me and the heat on Democrats about just how danerous and out of control that border really is. We Want see La Raza making any comment about this in their commanding and demanding.

Want a frightening perspective?

Assuming there are 30 million illegals in America and a congressional district consists of a bit over 600,000 people. There are enough illegals in America to fill more than 50 congressional districts.

Let’s all hope that we don’t nominate Perry for governor, or we’ll never get that border sealed.

Oh, REALLY?

WHAT have other states done?? (with the exception of AZ Ok and Ga)

What have other candidates stated that they would do?

What has Sarah stated she would do?

What is Backmann’s plan?

What did Reagan do?
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2008/jan/06/rudy-giuliani/yep-reagan-did-the-a-word/
President Ronald Reagan was the first president in history to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. On November 6, 1986, he signed into law the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986, [PUB L 99-603]. In so doing, he set a precedent whereby the United States would not seek to deport illegal aliens, but to reward their lawbreaking by granting them full citizenship.

Perry wants passage of a measure requiring every person arrested to be run through the federal immigration databases as part of the Secure Communities program. He also wants to provide the state Department of Public Safety with the authority to make sure someone is in the U.S. legally before issuing a driver’s license.

>These measures, along with a ban on sanctuary cities, would “provide a clear message that Texas will not turn a blind eye to those breaking our laws,” Perry said in a statement.
“Texas owes it to the brave law enforcement officials, who put their lives on the line every day to protect our families and communities, to give them the discretion they need to adequately do their jobs,” Perry said.
http://www.rickperry.org/media-articles/perry-adds-immigration-issues-lawmakers-agenda-0?amp

>Gov. Perry has made numerous requests of the federal govt. to enforce the border in Texas including handing President Obama a letter in person when he landed in Dallas last year.
(Obama insulted governor Perry when he turned away and Perry had to hand the letter on the illegals issue to presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett. Obama declined to personally accept it.)

>Gov. Perry refuses to meet/greet Obama in May 2011 at El Paso during his Texas tour.
Perry later declared, “If he wanted to meet, I was in Austin.

>Perry signed into law photo ID required before voting.

NEWSFLASH! None of them are going to do much.
We have to take the best of the lot.

Phoney hispanic "republican" front for amnesty says Rick Perry is the number one hispanic friendly US politician of 2010 elections.

Governor Rick Perry is #1 Hispanic-friendly U.S. Politician of 2010 Elections

Phoney hispanic "republican" front group encourages the GOP to use the "un American" tea partiers and then toss us aside.

How Un-American is the TEA PARTY

Are they so “irrational” and merely a self-centered group revolutionary geezers that do not hold American ideal and thus attack our American values—Democracy, Capitalism and Constitutionalism. Strategically, it seems like the right thing to do for Republican to utilize the Tea Party to diminish Obama’s agenda. But it is also time for Republicans that realize that this people merely using the flag colors as facade to promote un-American agenda . While they do have the right to dissent, sadly, their agenda pushed by special interest in Sacramento and D.C. do not embody the original best American values.

“WHAT have other states done?? (with the exception of AZ Ok and Ga)”

Well then name a state with a Republican governor and a TWO THIRDS Republican legislature that cannot even get a watered-down Sanctuary City bill passed.

Yes, I know, the apologists say it wasn’t the Magnificent Governor’s fault, no - it was those bad boys in the legislature that just wouldn’t do it. You know all those Republicans that had been conservatives ALL their political careers, but JUST changed into RINOs once we needed their votes.

Well, pal, if Perry cannot get a water-down Sanctuary City bill passed with a 2/3’s MAJORITY (or close enough) in BOTH houses of the legislature, what the hell use will he be in DC, where he’ll be lucky to even have any majority at all in the Congress?

Bottom line - some of us are NOT FOOLED and we know full-well that Perry despises getting into a fight about immigration and would rather follow the Bush-43, open-borders, route.

“wants” to do these things? Why doesn’t he do something about the police officers in Texas being gun down by illegal immigrants?

The Border Patrol has very state of the art, high tech night vision.

IF this story is true, it could be a low level smuggler lost his night vision and if he told him boss, he might have had to pay a high price.

Of course there is a good chance the whole story is BS.

No, we have to pick a candidate that will get out the CONSERVATIVE vote. But in the end, Obama’s re-election will simply be a referendum on himself - the Republican won’t even matter...it’s that way every time.

By the way, pandering to La Raza (as below) is not the person we want...

The only one who has done something meaningful about the border is Duncan Hunter.

“What did Reagan do?”

I guess by mentioning Reagan’s Amnesty, you’re telling us there’s nothing wrong with the concept.

That’s fine, and you’re certainly entitled to that viewpoint, and it does seem to fit Governor Perry quite well (or else you wouldn’t mention it).

I guess I’m just saying that myself, and I suspect most other conservatives, DO NOT want another round of Amnesty.
