Years ago, I worked at a plant that no longer exists, for a company that has been severely reduced in size. I worked in the same office as the department clerk. He was a nice guy, went to church, gave to all the fund drives at work, was polite, patriotic, etc.
One day, I was arguing against abortion. He said, explicitly, that he approved of it because it kept the welfare rolls and criminals down. Except he used the ‘n’ word, so we know who he was talking about. I could never quite feel the same way about him after that.
they fail to realize that most of the kids aborted would have grown up to be productive citizens who would have worked, paid taxes, consumed products which would have put more people to work and while working have contributed to social security.
