OK. The Mexican should have been stoned and nail-studded-boarded to death, but no shooting. Provide our border guards with suitable trebuchets, please. For entertainment, any Mexican found sneaking across will be put in the trebuchet and hurled back as well. (Well kidding, but only slightly so.)

Maybe we should fight stone age weapons with mid evil weapons. When illegal aliens are captured on the U.S. side after they have assaulted Border Patrol agents with rocks we should load the illegals on a catapault and hurl them back to Tijuana.

The ACLU is assisting foreign invaders. One day, this group is going to miss a couple pieces of incriminating evidence while having a couple of honorable members willing to testify. I'm not saying this will be anytime soon, you’d have to have a very large amount of competent politicians, prosecutors and judges.
