RAISE USA DEBT CEILING (i.e. put off the needed cancer treatments) = GOOD.

OR

RESPONSIBLY CUT SPENDING & REIGN IN GOVERNMENT AND HOLD THE LINE (take the medicine now) = GLOBAL ARMAGEDDON.

Previously, I refused to buy a TVRO satellite (Dreamsat) because the service had only Commie News Network and British Babble Corp.
Recently, we got Gsat. It has only FOX News and no BBC or CNN.

Wonder if the satellite footprint you refer to, reaches Northeast Asia. Our TV satellite here carries Communist News Network (as per my rant), and deep sixed Fox TV News some years back.

on my receiver and some programs with Jap subtitles.

Fox News is being dumb in some regards, CNN is widely available for free over many satellites, Fox news doesnt have any free clear Sat channels anywhere, it all has to be paid for in packages and that is why CNN has cornered that International market. Its an own goal.

CNN Europe is practically unwatchable.

Not to mention all the Bush Bashing that was overt during the Bush years, they are always slanting the news - although in Europe, the BBC is just as bad.

During prime time, they have some stupid "African Voices" business report on African business. That is a joke. There is no business worth reporting on from Africa when compared with Capitalist places like Singapore that deserve emulation or Hong Kong.

I'm waiting for the "Cuban Business Report" or the "North Korea Times" shows...
