The congress people went to D.C. and made themselves rich. They gave themselves the a retirement system regular people could only dream of. And if the government folds, there goes their wealth. That’s why they will continue this crap for as long as possible.

Are you considering this current Boehner bill ( that all Democrats have sworn to defeat that is in trouble now) 'the cave' you reference?? What happens if standing in ‘principle’ results in much worse results? In other words, what if Boehner’s failure on this bill leads to a much more humiliating 'cave in' bill to Democrats signed into law on this? Does that matter or is just making the point that matters?
