Then there is the issue that Kenya was not a country the year Obama was born, and Kenya is listed as his father's place of origin. Not only is that completely false, it doesn't magically change Hawaii's policy regarding release of documents.

You underestimate the power of a Federal Judge. If they can order Statewide Busing, they can order the state to allow an examination of their documents by a litigant. If cooperation isn't forth coming, the Judge could order Federal Marshals to start arresting DOH employees till someone complies.

Hawaii's laws regarding this issue will mean what they have always meant regarding a Federal Issue of Constitutional Law; SQUAT!

The fraud he’s covering has to do with his collge years. Either he lied to get aid as a foreign student, or he was a foreigner as per his adoption by Lolo Soetoro who never re-applied for US citizenship upon his return from Indonesia.

I've thought along those lines, also. Why not supoena his college records, financial aid, etc. while trying to get the birth certificate? Why does it have to be either/or? Go after both.

Why would he have to "re-apply" for citizenship?

Foreign adoption of a minor child who is a US citizen does not void US citizenship.

If he were a US citizen on August 4, 1961 and if he did not renounce that citizenship after his 18th birthday, then whatever Lolo did or did not do is meaningless.

What Indonesia allows has NOTHING to do with young Barry's US citizenship. Either he had it, or he didn't.

If he was a US citizen before SAD met Lolo, then he was a US citizen after he was adopted by Lolo.

Can anyone prove that the Indonesian authorities required proof of Nationality and checked documents back when Obozo was placed in school.

And you think that a renouncement of citizenship, whether its done by your parents or not, precludes you from having to re-apply to become a citizen once again? I don’t agree. And what about his passport status to re-enter the US?

The real question here, is why, in light of the fact that Obama has "released" the certificate, why could there possibly be any legitimate reason to deny access to the original? The fact they still resist access tells far more than anything.

Is this a real subpoena signed off by the judge, or is it one of Orly’s “special” subpoenas?

From what I can tell, it is a real subpoena. It has at the top of the paper United States District Court for the State of Hawaii. It gives the Hawaii Dept of Health address as well as Orly’s mailing address and e-mail on it. It was signed by the Deputy Clerk of the Court.

It also gives the Civil Action number of 1:11-CU-D0402 RCL. If this action is pending in another district, state where: US DC District of Columbia.

She may be able to get to the college information through the Social Security Case instead of the Birth Certificate Case.
