Among other more important considerations, this was a needless PR disaster for Republicans. Boehner botched it big time.

I called Reid’s office and told them to do what I wrote..Pick one, or all...and at least do their job and VOTE, not vote not to VOTE, actually vote on a piece of legislation. Fat lot of good it will do but these lines need to be on fire. 202-224-3542

So what vehicle will the Senate use to get a bill to the House? Will there be a “Reid Balanced Budget Bill”? Will CCB come back?

No, the GOP is doing it's job. The Senate has to look at one of the passed bills because they can't initiate this type of bill.
So far they have not done a darn thing except divide and ...well...give them time....
Senate tabled Boehner’s bill but will use that as the shell for Reid’s bill. Apparently it will need 60 votes to go back to the House. They got 59 today so they’ll get it and what goes back to the House will be crap, or worse, will be bad but not bad enough to vote down.

The bill that is currently carrying the language IS a senate bill. S.627, IIRC. It was a FOIA bill in the Senate, Boehner stripped that language and put in the debt limnit, etc. stuff, and sent it back to the Senate. Reid is doing silimar, stripping out all of the House language, and putting in Senate (DEM) language.
Right now Reid is 2 RINOs short.
BELIVE ME! I fully understand that DEAR LEADER would like to lead this country down a predictable path that drives the “sheeple” (in his mind) into a Red, White and Blue Revolution. He would love nothing better than armed rebels so that he could completely transform America.
