Can’t believe some think this is simply a matter of our being “Patient”....that’s a passive position which to date has not accomplished a thing for the American people.....Do they think for a second the Democrates are being “patient”...heck no...they are out in full force to continue to win their battles....and they do.

All the cards were in our court....all the Republicans had to do was hold that line....they folded.

The vote to table CCB was a slap in the face, not to the House members but to WE THE PEOPLE whom those members represent.

Yep....and I'm still smarting...because our faces just got slapped by the Rebublicans as well.

Somehow people believe this was a "Political victory" for our side....it wasn't...empty promises and words on paper are simply that...no substance which anyone acts on.... meanwhile the administration continues to roll us of every dime possible and tells us it's for our good. That's abuse...and like abused woman who can't call what's happening to them what it is, so too are those who somehow think if we just keep being nice the abuse will stop. It won't.

In my understanding yes, goes to the house. And your right, no bill may very well be better than what's there because it won't be honored anyway. Is there a chance the republicans will say no at this late hour? If they do you can be certain all will blame them for whatever fallout comes...both here and internationally.

I posted this the other day and now it becomes truth.
This “DEAL” ends any shred of hope that I had for the Republican party. It’s time to support a third party and get rid of these GOP lifers.
__________________________

As I sit and read about this ongoing fiasco, I simply can’t believe that the voters (on both sides) are so utterly stupid (the definition of stupid is doing the same thing time and time again expecting a different result) that they actually BELIEVE the politicians! How utterly stupid!

Almost ALL politicians LIE! Almost ALL people believe them! It’s the perfect definition of “STUPID!”

We were sold down the river by the GOP many months ago. The imaginary crisis we are currently in was devised months ago too. Worse yet, the “FIX” was agreed upon upon the invention of the crisis and solution thereof. All they had to do is put on a real show of how hard they were fighting the bill and how hard the Dems were fighting to enable the bill.

There was never any doubt that the Republicans would cave in and there was never any doubt that the Democrats would trick them into taking the whole package hook-line-and-sinker. For that is what the Republicans always do: Snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and go along to get along.

Just remember the definition of stupid...we will all see it firsthand in the next few days.

Obama was planning to bypass the house on this measure and sign a treaty with some country with the Dim budget in it and kick it to the Senate.

This "Deal on Debt Reduction" damages the lives of current and future generations of Americans and gives aid and comfort to the enemy.

Note well the traitors who vote for it.

The American voters have to decide to start getting that kind of true story on their own.

no tax hikes at all and 1 trillion reduced over the course of 10 years.

Let's see...Obama had hardly been in office one year when he happily sent close to 1 trillion down Alice in Wonderland's rabbit hole and called it "stimulus." Took a few weeks to do but ten years to undo? With no accountability whatsoever? "Off with their heads!"

"Since there's confusion on taxes and the committee:

Under the framework, the Joint Committee of Congress will work off a current-law baseline, as required by the 1974 Budget Act, effectively making it impossible for Joint Committee to increase taxes.

http://www.speaker.gov/UploadedFiles/3-7-31-11-Debt-Framework-Boehner.pdf"

This statement needs more evaluation by budget knowledgeable Freepers. I listened to Obama and his everything is on the table rhetoric and I don't understand how working off of a current-law baseline prohibits tax increases.

Purge and destroy RINOs. Calmly, clearly and decisively. If you want to tolerate the RINO prostitutes ...

In order to be clear and decisive, please confirm that you include Congressmen Pence, Ryan and West in your definition of RINO.

RINOs! They're everywhere! Purge and destroy!

Republicans Win When the Fight Is Over Cuts Not More Taxes

To be clear, you believe that Congressmen Pence, Ryan and West should "pay dearly" next year?

I would hope that the anti-incumbent vote also applies to the Democrats.

The biggest fear of Washington has finally been realized - the electorate has awakened and it is much worse than 1994 because it extends beyond the republican party.

IMHO, the biggest problem is that we are ruled, not governed, by the professional politicians. They are, in turn, ruled by money. Look at what it costs to stay in power these days. BLUF: what other “profession” aids and abets massive over spending to stay at work?

Obama is talking about a Billion ($ 1,000,000,000) dollar reelection. His annual salary is $ 400K, $ 50K expense account, $ 100K travel account, plus $ 19K entertainment - total annual income 569K ($ 569,000). Spread out over 4 years this comes out to slight more than $ 2,000,000. But in his reelection bid Obama is figuring on spending 500 times that.

In 2010, Senator McCain spent over $ 21,000,000 for a job that pays $ 174,000 a year. Spread out over 6 years, his term of office, that's % 1,050,000 - or, 21 times his expected return on expenditures.

How long could John McCain sustain that level of personal spending, given that he is married to a millionairess?

How long could Obama sustain that level of personal personal spending without access to some else’s wallet?

Cut $0.04 trillion over 1 1/2 years and add 2.4 trillion to the debt. It’s a sweeping plan alright. A plan to get Obama re-elected.

I’ve never understood this line of thinking. How exactly would a plan to add another $2.4 trillion to our crushing debt with hardly any spending cuts energize a majority of the electorate to re-elect Obama?

If this Cloward/Piven national suicide mandate passes the upside will be that it will at least expose ALL of America's enemies in DC.
THEN we have clear targets and thus can get to work showing the world what Tea Party Power is all about!!!
The history making Tea Party Miracle of 2010 will become a ho hum whatever compared to what's coming in 2012!!!

Republicans that vote for this joke are going to pay dearly early next year in Primaries or in November

Absolutely.

And they need to hear that from us, loud and clear.
