GOP presser LIVE on FOX
FOX News | Aug 1, 2011 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 08/01/2011 1:11:13 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

The GOP "leadership" is united in lying to the public while they stab us in the back.

I must correct their lies. There is not a nickle in spending cuts in this bill.

It's absolutely idiotic to pile on more debt and continue spending when you're already so deeply in debt that you can never get out.

No deal would be better than this MARXIST POS!!

It's the spending, stupid!!

Tea Party Freshmen: HOLD THE LINE!!

Rebellion is brewing!!

Reinforcements coming in 2012!!

Rebellion is brewing!! Oh how I wish that was true.

Sincerely, I believe it is. We're off the soap box and full into the ballot box, as 2010 proved and 2012 will re-emphasize. The jury box has been approached with regard to Obama's eligibility and the constitutionality of the health care "reform" rammed down our throats. Whether the ammo box becomes necessary is yet to be determined. I do have my pitchfork and torches at the ready :-)

Not enough Tea Partyers in the Congress to get everything they want. Need another election cycle at least.

If Ryan and West say that is the best we can do then so be it.

>>They can’t kill us all. Can they?????
They can try...and there can be a rifle behind every blade of grass!

The Socialist Republicans and Communist Democrats use the same game plan. The only difference is the rate of advance.

Imagine going for cancer surgery and being asked to be happy with a 2/3’s fix.

Right, they cut you open, they remove the cancer and then they stop, congratulate themselves and go home, with you, your guts opened up, lying on the table dying. That's what they just did to us.

B/S. The congress cannot raise the spending or the credit limit unless the tea party freshmen go along with it. There are just enough fiscal conservatives in the House to make any such bill fail. IF they stick together and IF they HOLD THE LINE!!

No increase in the limit at all is better than this. At least that will force cuts.

Obama’s reelection is right on schedule. Watch for Bernanke to initiate QE3 very soon. Trillions more to hand out. Free money!

Crazy times we're living in. Scary crazy.

Actually, to me they seem to be marching in lockstep with no discernable speed difference between them.

I've been screaming about baseline budgeting for some time, especially on other threads where people are trying to make this budget deal to be something other than the huge loss for all of us that it really is. You're right that not a single dime will be cut in this budget. It's a scam and is being perpetuated by the trioka of tbe Demopublicans, Republicrats, and the Media. We're being had, yet most people have no clue whatsoever of what is going on.

McConnell with Cavuto on FNC mentioned TEA asked for too much and should be happy with the limits of his accomplishments.

I won't get excited until I hear that they have shut down a few departments and agencies, and that at least 25,000 government employees have taken 'early retirement'.

Until then; it is ALL 'BS'.

The fact that Ryan is onboard with this gives me a little pause. He has always seemed very solid where cutting government is concerned.

I'm not quite sure what to think right now.

We need to see more lists like this, and we need to know WHY these items aren’t being cut TODAY. Read the list to your local Congressman at your next ‘town hall’...
