Not sure where these stories come from, but in fact Israel has always negotiated "from" the 1949/1967 lines, as well as making it clear that they won't be returned to. Netanyahu, like his predecessors, have been willing to have these discussions. He's not the one refusing to talk.In any case, it's a moot point; anytime there's a chance that negotiations might get somewhere, the Palis find a pretext to break it off and start an intifada.

Given the fact that they have no government, and a third of the population (Gaza) not only won't vote in the upcoming "elections", but refuse to recognize Israel, the point is truely moot. Getting difficult for even Barry to ignore.
