Bloomberg Will Not Rest In His War On Firearm Freedoms

Philanthropist and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is the kind of anti-freedom politician every gun owner should despise. Whether it is the food we eat or the kind of car we drive, Bloomberg likes to stick his nose in other people’s business, and tell us what to do. Bloomberg’s viewpoints are not just for the New York City folks either, but for all of us, and when it comes to his position on guns, his ego reaches new, obscene levels.

Instrumental in assembling “Mayors Against Illegal Guns," which boosts 500-plus members across the Nation, Bloomberg is on a crusade to restrict innocent Americans from purchasing, carrying and operating firearms. The group says they are “dedicated to making America's cities safer by cracking down on illegal guns.” http://www.mayorsagainstillegalguns.org/downloads/pdf/blueprint_federal_action.pdf Hint to Readers: When a politician equates illegal guns with legal guns - we have a problem.

What the egoists - know it all’s - do not seem to comprehend is that there is a meaningful difference between the two phrases. First of all, guns are not illegal. In fact, the right to bear arms is guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. When a criminal commits an act against a law, that makes them an offender, but when an innocent Americans are harassed by government officials when attempting to purchase, carry and operate a gun, that’s a violation of the 2nd Amendment.

The really bad news is that MAIG, since its inception in 2006, have been causing havoc on innocent Americans who seek to purchase, carry and operate guns. When very rich people like Michael Bloomberg contribute large sums of money to the cause, they become particularly effective in soliciting – a h e m – buying off other politicians to join them in their anti-freedom crusade.

The Thune Amendment

Amendment Purpose: To amend chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to allow citizens who have concealed carry permits from the State in which they reside to carry concealed firearms in another State that grants concealed carry permits, if the individual complies with the laws of the State. http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d111:SP1618

The Thune Amendment, proposed in July of 2009 was only two votes short in the US Senate from passing. Perhaps this good amendment would have become law without the strong arm capabilities of MAIG and others who mistakenly suggest that guns itself are illegal.

The Tiahrt Amendments

Here, MAIG are attempting to circumvent the privacy rights of innocent Americans, by incorrectly asserting that the Amendments “make it harder for law enforcement officers to aggressively pursue criminals who buy and sell illegal guns.” Again, criminals who commit crimes are acting in an illegal manner; guns are NOT inherently illegal – u r g h!

In fact, as David Kopel at Volokh.com points out, the Tiahrt Amendments actually: “[P]rotects the privacy of law-abiding gun owners by restricting disclosure to third parties of various federal records of lawful gun purchases, by enforcing a prior federal law requiring the prompt destruction of National Instant Check System records on lawful purchases, and by forbidding the creation of a computerized federal gun-owner registry. The amendment also partially limits the disclosure of information from federal gun traces--which Chicago Mayor Daley and other politicians have sought, in order to support their lawsuits against gun manufacturers.” http://volokh.com/posts/1184253706.shtml

Aha! There is always an ulterior motive behind politicians who seek to limit freedoms provided to us by the Constitution. Looks like there is plenty of money to be made suing gun manufacturers for distributing guns which are, remember folks – LEGAL. But, that is the name of the game for these anti-freedom, want to control our behavior, individuals. It does not matter to them that guns are not the culprit for crimes, criminals are. What matters to them, is that they get to exert more control over the masses by controlling the way in which we purchase, carry and operate firearms.

These are just a couple of examples of how gun control advocates operate, always at the behest of innocent Americans, rather than the criminals who behave illegally. And, if you really want to be offended, read “A Blueprint for Federal Action on Illegal Guns” which is a 57-page dossier MAIG with Bloomberg at its helm have created.

Caution: It may make cause sickness. Link here:

USC Title 18. Section 241 and 242. Conspiracy to Deprive Civil Rights under Color of Law, and Deprivation of Civil Rights under Color of Law.

In Bloomingidiots case, I would consider either life imprisonment at hard labor or the Death penalty for the harm he has caused. And yes, the law itself allows for that sentence.

I just wonder what life will be like in a world where good guys can’t arm themselves and bad guys blow themselves up.

Because they are liberals, “statists”, people who seek to destroy our personal liberties. In my humble opinion, they are clear and present dangers to our country.

This is how to deal with gun-grabbers:

If a bureaucrat, or a soldier sent by a bureaucrat, comes to knock down your door and confiscate your firearms -- kill him. If you can, kill the politician who sent him. You will likely die anyway, and you will be saving someone else the same fate.

Because criminals are protected by the Fifth Amendment - they can’t be prosecuted for refusing to incriminate themselves.

Besides, its easier to enforce the law against law abiding gun owners - they won’t try to kill you.

Perhaps in the past, but not today. See reply 9 above. Liberty-raping fascist jackboots should be mindful.

Cops enforcing unconstitutional laws are nothing more than thugs and will be treated as such.

Which was the main and ONLY goal of it all along.

Bloomberg is a piece of sh*t.
