The Alaska Attorney Generals office has dismissed yet another frivolous ethics complaint filed against Governor Palin by a leftwing political blogger. This particular blogger is from Texas (where she volunteered as a precinct captain for Barack Obamas 2008 campaign), and yet her dismissed complaint against Governor Palin has cost the State of Alaska time and resources because no matter how absurd the complaint is, the state must respond to it. These complaints also cost Governor Palin personally to defend herself. This small band of leftwing bloggers have dedicated their lives to spreading lies, half-truths, and failed legal analysis about allegations of corruption against Governor Palin. This dismissed complaint is just the latest example of their destructive strategy to harass a political leader they disagree with.
This particular complaint alleged that Governor Palin violated Alaskas Executive Branch Ethics Act because the production company that made Sarah Palins Alaska received a film tax credit from the State of Alaska related to its expenses in making the series. It should be noted that Governor Palin never received any direct money or compensation from this tax credit. The legislation that created this tax credit was crafted and passed by Alaska lawmakers and signed into law by Governor Palin. In dismissing this complaint, the Alaska Attorney Generals office outlines the illogic and absurdity of exempting former governors from complying with statutes they signed into law for two years after they leave office.

(((((PING)))))
They’re maggots.
>> Could be what she’s been waiting for...I think this was the last one. <<
Sure do hope so. Now she can run and take our country back.
Come on Sarah, RUN!
I’ll send money when you do.
So no matter how absurd the claim is, the state must respond to it? The “most ethical administration in history” doesn’t seem so similarly constrained.
“Texas makes losers pay for bringing frivolous lawsuits”
http://washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/2011/06/texas-makes-losers-pay-bringing-frivolous-lawsuits
The provision is included in the 2011 Omnibus Tort Reform Act Perry signed May 30. In addition to the loser-pays provision, the new law:
Allows a trial judge to send a question of law directly to the appellate court without requiring all parties to agree if a ruling by a court of appeals could decide the case.
Allows plaintiffs seeking less than $100,000 in damages to request an expedited civil action.
Allows a trial court to dismiss a frivolous lawsuit immediately if there is no basis in law or fact for the lawsuit.
Now, a good Alinskyite, would read this and go after all of those people who filed the lawsuits. Sue each and every one of them for something just as frivoulus.
Force them to spend every dime they have and then have the ACLU and Soros funded organizations defend them and give them money.
And after doing that to a few of these maggots, they will get the picture and go back under their rock. Fact is, we don’t fight so they think they can boop us in the nose then run away.
What-cha waitin’ for? I have been giving monthly since she opened the PAC. Come on in, the water’s great!
Is there anyone out there who can verify this is the last one?
Me too. As will many others...
Here is a link to the pathetic lump of jealous flesh that has been filing these bogus complaints.

I’m probably wrong, but I think this post signals Palin may soon be ready to announce.
This posting just seems almost out of place unless she were to tie it in to something bigger. *wink* *wink*
So will I and I’m not even sure I’ll vote for her.
Talk about obsession!
PTL!
if she announces, I cannot imagine her one day take. So many people are just a waitin’. Mrs. Principled and I are two of them.
There are laws against harassment and frivolous lawsuits now.
I have a queestion about this for anyone. When these “ethical” complaints were going on costing Alaska and the Palin lots of money and in the process defunding the Palin family of their wealth was there any consideration for the republican party to in any way help out Palin and the state of Alaska. It seems to me this is the chief reason she resigned. She figured she only had a little over a year to go in her term so she stepped down to save Alaska money and her family money plus she felt secure in doing this since she had confidenace in the Lt. Governor. Maybe if the national republican party had helped her out or defended her in some way she might still be the governor.
I’ve already sent money to her.
If she wants more she has to RUN!

Also, in an attempt to understand it, I clicked on the AG's statement. However, page 2 of the AG's dismissal is missing from the pdf.
