You know that commercial, “Can your hear me now?”. We showed them we can filibuster at least in the House. Just have to keep the pressure on the establishment Republicans.

“Were in a great position to take the Senate, hold the House, and take the White House.”
We had that position. For years. Did nothing with it but increase spending.
Shut it down.

Rush is echoing the sentiments of the American people.
A majority disapprove of this bill’s passage. 3/4’s of the Tea party and near that of Republican voters disagree. The only people who seem happy are those who realize there were no cuts and are satisfied with that.
If you want to listen to someone cheerlead this fraud go tune in Laura Ingraham.

Glad you see some hope in all that. I've lived long enough to know ALL Politicians are LIARS.
I was so excited, years back, when we took the whole ball of wax, we had the Senate and the House. Remember what happened?????? We had it all and lost big time, because the Rep's do not know how to have Control of anything, whimps all. More profitable to just let the Dem's take over and the R's don't get the blame. I worked hard in those campaigns, and tried hard to convince people to just once let's get the Rep's in charge and see it improve. Boy, was I wrong
There is no longer any differance between R's and D's., but if your young you still have hope and that's a good thing.
The only ones to be proud of are the S.C. congressmen, WHO HELD THEIR principles as promised to the voters.
But hey, dream on.

I am furious. No doubt. The opposition swarmed over our team and defeated us. The line didn't hold. And it appears a few people, like Benedict Arnold Alan West, switched teams on us -- that didn't help. We were beatedn by superior forces.
The "you won" mantra is not, however, a "sales pitch". They are not trying to convince us we had a victory in order to appease us. The purpose of this media dagger is to set the stage for further borrowing (aka. theft of tax payer dollar) as this outrageous debt ceiling increase and budget fail miserably.
The liberals and RINO's are setting us up to take the blame for its failure. In the future they will call to tax us further in order to repair what they will say is "the damage the Tea Party visited upon the economy". Call us "winners" today in order to disenfranchise us tomorrow as this political feces of a budget further destroys the economy.
I give Sarah Palin a pass, however. In the interviews I've heard, she appeared to be saying our "success" was in our ability to make the establishment nervous. The Tea Party flexed its young muscle for the first time in politics. We didn't win, but we did give the other team cause to take notice. She is encouraging further exercise of that muscle. I did not hear her indicate this budget bill was any type of legislative victory.

The reason the liberals gain is because they continue on unfazed for years and years.
We usually form a circle and start firing at one another.
I believe it was a skirmish, the Tea Party movement will grow and that there are bigger battles ahead. We must have a long term mindset to ever win this war.

I don’t want Donald Trump by my side for anything.
Where is the result of the investigations in Hawai that he claims he was having done.
There are none, because he lied, it was all a scam to get the BC off the agenda for Obama’s next election, just like the democrats wouldn’t allow a short term solution to the debt for the same reason.
Trumpo is a two faced POS.

uh.... no. Name a time when we had the house, the senate, and the white house? I think we had the Senate by one vote about 10 years ago while everyone sat around hoping Strom Thurmond didn’t die. Then Jeffords jumped and it was back to even. We’ve never had CLOSE to the strength the Dems had only 2 years ago.

I dont want Donald Trump by my side for anything. At first I thought Trump was a smart guy. Then I heard him say that mayor Bloomberg was doing a good job and was good for New York.
That's when I knew he was a certified idiot.

‘the arguement is that the Republicans didnt want to take the blame if they said NO to raising the debt ceiling, which could impede chances of winning Senate and Presidency in 2012.
Now, suppose that Republicans do win big in 2012. Then what? Do they make massive cuts in entitlements and end EPA, DoEnergy, DoEducation, HUD, etc.? The deficit?...NOT LIKELY, for the same reason - they want Republicans to be re-elected in 2014, expecially the freshmen will be sophomores by then! THEY WILL NEVER HOLD THE LINE!!! and we as a nation are going down like Greece.
We have been duped!

The only people who seem happy are those who realize there were no cuts and are satisfied with that. What the idiots in power, both donkey and elephant, fail to realize is that common average citizens will fault them for first failing to pass anything until the 11th hour and then passing a bill that does absolutely nothing to curb government spending. This tea party terrorist will remember both of these parties in Nov 2012.......

We gave them a CC&B bill which lacked only 4 votes in the Senate.
They tabled it without a glance.
We should have sent it back, over and over, saying
Pass this bill or we shut this place down. Either choice is fine by us.
It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to bribe only 4 senators does it?

And the next big skirmish, perhaps the biggest of all, is in 2012. Were in a great position to take the Senate, hold the House, and take the White House. The Republicans will have difficulty taking the Senate and holding the House because they are angering the Tea Party and they are not communication to the mushy middle that the Democrats are bad.
