“A majority disapprove of this bill’s passage. 3/4’s of the Tea party and near that of Republican voters disagree. The only people who seem happy are those who realize there were no cuts and are satisfied with that.

You completely missed the whole damn point and in the process assumed you know my position on the matter and implied I was happy with the situation.
Concerning political philosophy I might agree with Rush 99% of the time but I never accept his opinion without critical analysis. At the present time Rush is an unhappy, defeatist, Monday morning quarterback and he wants everyone to be unhappy along with him.
Now get the hell to work on the Obamacare repeal, of course we all know that will never happen either.
I respectfully dis-agree with you sir. In the not too distant future, nobody will buy federal gov’t bonds anymore. This is as certain to happen as the sun coming up.
At that point, even printing money won’t be enough to continue all programs, all departments and so on. There is a 40% cut in the size of the federal government coming down the hill at the socialist’s and there is not a damn thing ANYBODY can do to stop it! Sadly, outside forces will force it all to happen! Our 3 branch system is irreparably broken. It is going to messy, messy and violent!!! As I have argued before, the best thing that could happen to America is for the government to have horrible credit so that they CANNOT borrow money and are forced to live within their means like the rest of us.
Do I want that to happen? NO. But, I am willing to go through anything for the sake of my grandchildrens future.
