Schumer: ‘A Gun Held’ To Our Heads by GOP Over FAA Funding
Cybercast News Service ^ | 8/3/11 | Nicholas Ballasy

Posted on 08/03/2011 7:13:08 PM PDT by Nachum

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) accused House Republicans of “hostage taking” for not passing a “clean” short-term extension to fund the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with no cuts, comparing the situation to “a gun held” by the GOP to the heads of Democrats. “The issue is not essential air service. It’s not even a labor issue. It’s the issue of hostage taking. It’s as if someone puts a gun to your head and says ‘give me your money’ and then you say, ‘why won’t you give them their money?’

Ah, of course. The SuperCongress.

Oy. They come up with new bulls**t daily and it's really getting old.

See my tagline. I'll fight until the ammo's out, no doubt, but I think the war might be lost.

Unless you have time for a rousing pep talk. After the last few days I think a lot of us could use some encouragement from ya.

Isn’t this EXACTLY what liberals do? Put guns to our head and say ‘give me your money’?

This is one of Alinsky’s tatics: Accuse them of doing what you do.

He dedicated his book to Lucifer.

Not to spook you any worse...LOL

Of course, Schumer fails to mention the gun he holds to taxpayers heads and the taking of the future of our kids hostage to fund his tripple supersized government and labor unions every day for the last serveral years.

So I guess he doesn’t like when we finally start fighting back.

Oy Vey! (LOL one of grandma's favorite expressions...she came to America on the boat from Finland.)

I’m getting to the point where I don’t believe liberals and our side can coexist together on the planet at all.

At first glance, yes we might be subjugated by totalitarian control freaks running the planet..."liberals" probably not...Islam bigger threat, longer history.

Life, liberty and the pursuit and destruction of totalitarians. (we are still fortunate that we can vote them out of our lives...others we will have to use the ammo).

See my tagline. I'll fight until the ammo's out, no doubt, but I think the war might be lost.

Solution: DEFUND (DISMANTLE/DESTROY when necessary) socialist collectives, foreign and domestic.

Above all, if you wish to be strong, begin by rooting out every particle of socialism that may have crept into your legislation. This will be no light task. - Frederic Bastiat 1801-1850

Be prepared. BLOAT

RINOS Lugar, Snowe and Hatch need to go. Chuckie will have to wait.

What about Scott Brown? Oh, and "I'm not a Republican, I'm a Conservative" Sean Hannity endorsed Hatch today on his radio show.

Liar. The bill funding the FAA has been passed by the House over a week ago. It pulls funding for an airport in Ely, NV so Reid won’t allow the Senate to vote on it. Reid is the problem. Schmucky Schumer is his willing enabler.

Tea Party will deal with Brown. Sean has been a flipflopper all week. We can only hope he wakes-up from whatever delusions he seems to be having. He’s been hanging around Bekel (?) way to much.

"One conservative Republican....'

Uhhhh, no.

If you recall, any Senator who voted against the debt limit deal would be deemed ineligible for the 'Super Congress'.

Gee since this bill has been expired for 4.5 years why the rush now? I think thy thin they will get another chance to paint republicans as villians when most of America is fed up with the dims spending habits.

Since the tragedy in Tucson I thought that references to guns and targets was off limits. I’m sure Rep. Giffords wouldn’t appreciate the head and gun analogy.

Chuckie Schumer should get a life.

That’s what sickens me most about this debt-ceiling deal. Congress is going to appoint a committee to address the issue? There already is a committee, selected by the American people. And the name of that committee? It’s called “Congress”. Our legislators are worthless. If we could only put a ‘stop payment’ on their paychecks.

Honestly, are ANY of these turds worthy of re-election? Perhaps Barrasso, but the rest, I don’t think so! Hatch is so scared of being “Bennetted” that he has brown lips from his visits to the Tea Party gatherings.

I don’t believe any are worthy. Barrasso maybe, but the biggest turd is Scott Brown. He needs to go. One term only, and that was a sham.

By “we” does he mean conservatives or the RINO establishment....I suspect he means the latter.
